Announces third pregnancy
Kensington Palace annnounces Kate Middleton is having a third child. As with her previous two pregnancies, the duchess is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, or severe morning sickness.Ā The Queen and both families are said to be “delighted with the news”.
Gives birth to daughter
TheĀ Duchess of Cambridge givesĀ birth to a girl weighingĀ 8lbs 3oz (3.7kg) atĀ 08:34 BST.Ā The Duke of Cambridge isĀ present for the birth.Ā The princess is fourth in line to the throne.
Family leave hospital
The royal baby, along with her parents, the Duke and Duchess of CambridgeĀ makes an appearance outside the hospitalĀ just a few hours after the birth. After showing their new princess to the crowd, they depart for Kensington Palace where the Dutchess will recuperateĀ for a few days before the family moves home.
Goes into labor
MiddletonĀ isĀ admitted to the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital in London, and is in labor with her and Prince William’s second child.
Ceramic painting during factory visit
The Duchess of Cambridge visitsĀ Stoke-on-Trent to tourĀ the headquarters of Emma Bridgewater, a pottery company that specializes in artful designs.Ā The visit is part of her work with East Anglia Children’s Hospices [EACH], which is to benefit from a specially made charity mug made by the company, with all proceeds going to help terminally ill children and their families.
William, Middleton marry
William and Middleton get marriedĀ in Westminster Abbey in front of 1900 guest including Elton John and Victoria Beckham. William wears the scarlet uniform of the Colonel of the Irish Guards. Middleton arrives in a burgundy-and-black-colored Rolls-Royce, not a carriage, opting for a lower-key arrival.Ā HerĀ white dress is by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. William’s brother and best man Prince Harry wearsĀ the uniform of Captain of the Household Cavalry. Their music isĀ performed by the London Chamber Orchestra. The couple write their own prayer.
