Kristen Stewart interview
Stewart appears on The Late Late Show to promote her movie Clouds of Sils Maria. She talks about how she turned to her mom for her new tattoo.
My whole family’s really tatted, and for years and years I was like I do not need that. I’m pure, and I stand alone…Then I was like … ‘Mom, can you call your tattoo artist?’ It was a sweet little experience.
Interview magazine interview
Stewart models for Interview magazine. She tells Smith, who conducts the interview, that she has no career regrets.
Anybody who wants to talk s**t about Twilight, I completely get it, but there’s something there that I’m endlessly, and to this day, f**king proud of. My memory of it felt – still feels – really good.
Interview Germany cover
Stewart and Binoche are featured on the cover of Interview Germany magazine to promote their latest film Clouds of Sils Maria. When asked how she prepared for the role Binoche replies:
Of course I googled you (Kristen). Why? I needed to know whom I am supposed to meet and play with. I did watch some interviews of yours and instantly decided that I like you. I also watched On The Road – and skipped Twilight. Although I have to admit that the first time I ever saw you was on my daughters walls. I remember walking into her room thinking: So what the hell is this about?
Defends Stewart
In an interview with Vanity Fair Italia, Watson defends Stewart against recent media criticism regarding the scandal between Stewart and Rupert Sanders.
I thought that the media picked on her in a very horrible way. Kristen is human, just like everybody else, and she’s so young. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone. It’s not fair to consider them matters of public interest.
Tavis Smiley interview
Stewart discusses her career and her new role in On the Road, based on the book by Jack Kerouac, in this interview for PBS. On her character:
Some people aren’t comfortable with being comfortable. Some people really want to be pushed and find people that they can pull something out of you that you didn’t know you had, and you can scare yourself. I sort of realized at that point it was like I need to find people like that – people that are sort of comfortable – people that revel in sort of going a little crazy and following certain lines that aren’t necessarily expected or conventional.
