Debris not part of plane

The satellite images released to the press do not show debris from the missing plane, according to Malaysian investigators. A senior civil aviation official says:

There is nothing. We went there, there is nothing.

Malaysia’s transport minister, Hishammuddin Hussein, calls the release of the photos a mistake. Vietnamese officials say they will continue searching in the area of the debris field.
