London Fog campaign
London Fog releases its spring ad campaign featuring Harris – just days before the actor will make his debut at the Oscars to host for the first time.
In one of the newly released images, Harris wears a monochromatic gray suit and tie while resting a patterned umbrella on his shoulder. This is Harris’s second campaign for the iconic label.

Seacrest interviews Harris during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about the last season of How I Meet Your Mother.
It could be, yeah. Our contract is up at eight (seasons). When you first do a pilot in hopes that goes into a show they make you sign a seven year contract. Then when we renegotiated about halfway through they tacked on another year. So, we had an eight year contract, and this is that eighth season. If we end up doing a ninth season, which would be super rad, then they just sort of have to renegotiate that and figure it all out. I feel like the shows as strong as it’s been and that we, the cast, are getting along as well as we ever have. It seems like a kind of dream job, so it’s one I would love to do for a long time.

Hollywood Walk of Fame
Harris is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame under the category of Television. There to celebrate with him are his good friends Jason Segel and Joss Whedon. On the location of his star:

Gideon Scott, Harper Grace born
Fraternal twins Gideon Scott (boy) and Harper Grace (girl) are born to Harris and Burkah with the help of a surrogate mother. Each of the men is a biological father to one of the twins. Harris:
The one thing that I am so appreciative of that my parents did to us is talk to us like we were regular people, and didn’t talk to us like we were little babies. We’re going to tell them information. I want them to have information. The way that they were brought into this world was very unique and weirdly scientific, and the technology involved in it, I think, is remarkable. It came because we really, really wanted kids. We really had thought it through financially, emotionally, relationship wise. We didn’t accidentally get pregnant and decide that now we need to make this work. These kids come in to our world with nothing but love.
Emmy nomination
Harris is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother.
They announce the nominations so early in the morning, that this year I just stayed up all night and had an Emmy rave. So I must say, I’m deeply honored to be nominated, and also, my hair feels just amazing.

I love being in the mix again this year, but am absolutely over the moon about HIMYM‘s best comedy series nomination. The only multicamera show in the mix! This kind of recognition is huge for us. Just huge. It should be quite the night. Being asked to host the show—terrific. Getting a third nomination—fantastic. Having the ability to scribble my name in the envelope backstage when no one is looking—priceless.
