Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina
David Ryan Adams is born in Jacksonville, North Carolina and is an only child. He writes short stories and limericks as a child on his grandmother’s typewriter, which evolves into songwriting when his parents buy him an electric guitar at the age of 14. His first band is called Blank Label, but does not last long.
I started writing short stories when I was really into Edgar Allan Poe. Then later, when I was a teenager, I got really hard into cult fiction:Hubert Selby, Jr., Henry Miller, Jack Kerouac.
