40,000 devices stolen

Bandits steal 40,000 tablets, smartphones, and laptops valued by the police at $36,000,000 from a Samsung factory near Sao Paulo, Brazil. They hold the workers hostage for nearly four hours while they take truckloads of merchandise. A Samsung representitive says in an email to the Washington Post:

We are very worried about this incident. Fortunately nobody was hurt. We have cooperated fully with the ongoing police investigation and will do our best to avoid any reoccurrence.
