Sean Bean born in Sheffield, England

Sean Bean is born in the city of Sheffield, South Yorkshire county, England. His father is Brian Bean, a fabrication shop owner, and his mother is Rita, nee Tuckwood, who works as a secretary at his father’s workshop. Growing up on a council estate, he is a fan of art and glam rock but also enjoys football.

A common misperception of me is…that I am a tough, rough northerner, which I suppose I am really. But I’m pretty mild-mannered most of the time.

On advice learned from his mother:

Listen to people and treat people as you find them. There’s an inherent goodness in most people. Don’t pre-judge people – that was me Mam’s advice anyway.
