He takes his mother to every award show. Like that’s his date most times. He loves his mother, he respects his mother but they have its almost like a split personality relationship. She’s his manager so when their talking about management, business, numbers, times, dates. It’s like that but that’s mommy. He kisses on her, that’s mommy.

Usher and Foster’s divorce is finalized. Usher claims the marriage is irretrievably broken with no reasonable hope of reconciliation. Foster:

I had every reason to believe the marriage was intact.

Usher files for divorce from Foster, after almost 2 years. His mother didn’t approve of the relationship and it caused a big strain on the couple’s relationship.

My wife is not 40 years old. I love her to death and I’m a black, strong man in America standing up for my people — as a man to my wife, to my son, to my family. I’m making a stand that a lot of us should make. I coulda been like any other man who has a child and live with that woman and continue to just play the game. I’m trying to do it the right way. This is the way you’re supposed to do it! Pay attention, fellas.

Cardiac arrest

Foster-Raymond goes into cardiac arrest after going to Brazil to have liposuction on her stomach two months after giving birth her second son. She has a dangerous reaction to the anesthetic which causes the cardiac arrest. Ellen Dastry a representative of Sao Paulo, Brazil plastic surgeon Silvio Sterman:

Tameka Raymond came here on Friday to do a liposuction. Shortly after she went under [general] anesthesia, she suffered a cardiac arrest. Foster-Raymond spent a day in the intensive care unit and was transferred to another hospital.

Expecting second child

Usher and his wife are expecting their second child together.

I’m so proud to be a father by the time I’m 30. I’d hate to be 80 years old and not be able to run with my kids. I need to still be able to do flips when they’re in high school!
