Announces new TV show
Carter takes to Twitter to announce TNA will air a new television program on their TV home home at Destination America. The program is titled TNA Unlocked and will air on Saturday, January 17th of 2015.

Debut on Destination America press release
TNA issues a press release including details on their Destination America television debut.
Destination America welcomes IMPACT WRESTLING with a marathon on Wednesday, January 7 from 9 AM-9 PM ET, looking back at the biggest moments and most heated rivalries, leading into the special live broadcast from 9-11 PM ET. IMPACT WRESTLING on Destination America premieres in its permanent time slot Friday nights from 9-11 PM ET starting January 16, immediately followed by an encore from 11 PM-1 AM ET. Miss a matchup or just cant get enough? Check out IMPACT WRESTLING: UNLOCKED on Saturdays from 10 AM-12 PM ET beginning January 17 for a reloaded edition of the previous weeks IMPACT WRESTLING that will be a whole new viewing experience featuring extra content and never-before-seen footage.

Final Spike TV airings press release
TNA issues a press release on the final airings of IMPACT on Spike TV. The final three episodes will not be live events but compilation episodes featuring the best matches of TNA history. Carter comments:

First tapings for new channel set
TNA wrestling announces it’s first official round of television tapings for new home, Destination America, will take place January 7th, 8th and 9th at the Manhattan Center in New York. Carter comments:
With the explosive sold-out crowds in New York City this past summer, returning to the Manhattan Center for three huge events as IMPACT WRESTLING debuts on Destination America was an easy decision
Thanksgiving Throwdown announcement
TNA announces they will air a Thanksgiving special event on their Youtube channel on Wednesday, November 26th at 8:00 pm. The event will be hosted by Borash and will feature highlights of IMPACT’s greatest matches.
Announces new television deal
TNA and Discovery Communications issue a press release on TNA moving to the Destination America channel in January of 2015. The release reads:

Announces Malaysian TV deal
TNA announces SingTel mio Sports 1 will air IMPACT and Xplosion throughout Singapore and Malaysia. Dixie Carter comments:

TNA online waging game announcement
MX Digital announces agreement with William Hunt to produce six online waging games including one based on TNA Impact Wrestling.
Placing six of our branded games with William Hill represents the most significant distribution agreement for our company and a major step forward in establishing MX Digital in the marketplace.
Impact in Africa through 2019
TNA will continue to air IMPACT through 2019 due to an agreement with SuperSport, the continent’s leading sports broadcaster.
We have had a wonderful relationship with SuperSport since first airing on the channel in 2011 and we look forward to attracting more fans to our entertaining programming. This multi-year deal with SuperSport is one more example of TNA’s remarkable international growth as we continue executing our global brand and programming strategies.
SpikeTV announcement
TNA announces that IMPACT will continue to air through the end of 2014 on Wednesday nights on SpikeTV. The statement also says that negotiations are ongoing for deals after that.
IMPACT WRESTLING will remain a vital part of Spike TV’s programming on Wednesday nights, 9/8c, through the end of the year. Negotiations remain ongoing beyond this time frame.
Moves to Wednesday nights
TNA announces that IMPACT will now air on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m.This move is largely due to direct competition with the NFL. Dixie Carter:
Moving Impact Wrestling to Wednesday nights gives existing fans and new viewers an opportunity to both enjoy wrestling and live sports even more throughout the week.
Ratings statement
TNA issues statement on their website boasting higher ratings and the largest viewership since February.
The Aug. 7 episode of IMPACT WRESTLING, TNA’s flagship program airing Thursday nights at 9/8c on Spike TV, drew 1.6 million viewers (P2+, +3 Rating), the largest audience since mid-February of this year. The episode was also up against six nationally or regionally televised NFL pre-season games, the first of the NFL season.
Zema Ion resigns with TNA
TNA announces Zema Ion resigns with the company. The former X-Division champion is now under a multi-year deal.
The former X-Division Champion and incredible talent, both in and outside of the ring, signed a new multi-year deal effective immediately!
Impact negotiations continue
Executives of the network comment that they are in ongoing negotiations with TNA over the potential renewal of the wrestling company’s flagship program, IMPACT. The program is not in the current lineup for the fall season.

SpikeTV cancels TNA Impact
SpikeTV cancels TNA wrestling’s flagship program, Impact. The show has struggled to maintain ratings for many years. TNA owner Dixie Carter claims to be in negotiations with the network in hopes of renewing their contract.
Hardcore Justice announcement
TNA announces they will host a Hardcore Justice themed episode of Impact on August 5th.
TNA Hall of Fame
Sting is announced as an inaugural inductee to TNA Hall of Fame. Video chronicling Sting’s TNA career is shown.
Last year when I was inducted I had no idea that it was going to be me. I was an active wrestler. (I wondered why) they didn’t go with the Jeff Jarretts of the world. If they’re going to use an active guy, why not AJ? He’s been with the company since the beginning. I took it as an indication that they thought I was done. But it was a night that I will never forget, and it was awesome.
