Hawk appears in a video demonstrating the Hendo, which has been funded on Kickstarter and is due to ship some time after October 2015. The Hendo can carry a rider off the ground but must be used over a non-ferromagnetic conductor, such as a sheet of aluminum, and can only achieve heights of a few inches. It also doesn’t have a strong propulsion system, but is reported to be the closest product developed so far to a genuine hoverboard.
