Confesses Fox hookup
In an interview with Details magazine, LaBeouf admits to having hooked up with Fox while filming Transformers. When asked about Fox’s relationship status with Brian Austin Green at the time, the actor replies, “I don’t know,” twelve times.
Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them. I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.
Leaves ‘Transformers’ franchise
LaBeouf tells MTV that the third installment of the Transformers series will be the end for his character Sam Witwicky. The actor says he doesn’t believe there is anywhere to take the character in the franchise. LaBeouf believes that he has learned a lot working with Michael Bay and is willing to work in the director’s future films.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon may or may not be the end of the “Transformers” franchise on the big-screen — I’m betting on “may not,” for what it’s worth — but it’s definitely the end for Sam Witwicky.
Causes marriage conflict
LaBeouf’s hookup confession causes conflict in Fox’s marriage with Green. Although the two were on a break when the romantic entanglement occurred, Fox has been in tears and is apologizing to Green. According to OK Magazine the couple is very angry with LaBeouf.
Details cover
LaBeouf appears on the cover of the August 2011 issue of Details magazine. He talks about getting into fights, hooking up with Megan Fox, and a date with Hilary Duff.
I would like to be George Clooney – diplomatic. I just don’t have the wherewithal yet or the inner serenity. My bulls— meter is tuned very sensitive. The minute it starts kicking up, I get back to truth, and sometimes that involves, you know, ‘I don’t want to take a picture.’ And if that’s the case, am I an asshole for being honest? Or am I an a–hole for being dishonest, smiling in your picture and I f—ing hate being there? Which one is worse? These are the questions I ask myself that George Clooney doesn’t ask.
Spits water on date and Manson
At the opening of the L.A. nightclub, The Box, LaBeouf spits water on his date, Karolyn Pho, and his tablemates which include Marilyn Manson. Manson attempts to calm the actor down to no effect. LaBeouf becomes more out of control, yelling at his date, and then lunges out of the club with Pho following behind. An eyewitness says:
Marilyn looked shocked and annoyed, but stayed seated. It was so insane — he just had a total meltdown right in front of everyone. It was completely out of control. He was so angry and physical.
Vancouver bar fight
0 CommentsThe actor has an altercation with a man inside the Cinema Public House in Vancouver for an unknown reason. The fight continues outside the bar when security kicks the two out, with the man proceeding to hit LaBeouf in the head multiple times. Howard Cantour.com

It’s really an honor to be presenting my directorial debut to this crowd. It’s really outrageous to me.
LaBeouf, Pho split
After nearly two years of dating, Labeouf and Pho break up. According to a source, the couple have been having difficulties ever since LaBeouf agreed to star in Nymphomaniac, where he would be expected to engage in real sex scenes. LaBeouf demands raise
Star Magazine claims LaBeouf wants a $3 million raise from the $15 million he made with Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The tabloid’s source adds that the actor’s trash-talking about the movie might have also lost him the claim.
Rep dismisses ‘Transformers 4’ rumor
LaBeouf’s rep dismisses rumors that the actor’s involvement with the fourth Transformers film is dependent on how much money it will make him.
The story is a complete fabrication. While Shia remains very close with the filmmakers/studio, he was never attached to the fourth installment (nor is he in negotiations at this time). Salary did not impact his decision.
Broadway debut announced
The young actor’s Broadway debut is announced, where he will appear alongside Alec Baldwin in the upcoming revival of the play Orphans, a drama about two brothers who kidnap a wealthy old man. Clowes accuses LaBeouf of illegally borrowing from his 2007 comic, Justin M. Damiano. The plagiarism went unnoticed until LaBeouf’s short film, Howard Cantour.com, debuted online. Fantagraphics Books Inc., Clowes publisher, calls the film “a complete rip-off,” and that the novelist was never approached by LaBeouf to authorize an adaptation. In an interview with Buzzfeed, Clowes says:
The first I ever heard of the film was this morning when someone sent me a link. I’ve never spoken to or met Mr. LaBeouf. I’ve never even seen one of his films that I can recall — and I was shocked, to say the least, when I saw that he took the script and even many of the visuals from a very personal story I did six or seven years ago and passed it off as his own work. I actually can’t imagine what was going through his mind.
In response to the accusation, the short film is blocked from view on Vimeo yet continues to be available on BuzzFeed in its entirety.
Plagiarism apology
LaBeouf issues a string of apologies to Clowes for the admitted plagiarism. The apologetic tweets begin sincere with:
Im embarrassed that I failed to credit @danielclowes for his original graphic novella Justin M. Damiano, which served as my inspiration. I was truly moved by his piece of work & I knew that it would make a poignant & relevant short. I apologize to all who assumed I wrote it.
As the online accusations continue, LaBeouf’s tweets begin to show signs of frustration and sarcasm, many of which contain plagiarized content themselves. The most recent tweet contains a photo of an airborne apology, written in the sky by an airplane that was hired by the actor to say “I am sorry Daniel Clowes.”

Claims art installation rape
0 CommentsLaBeouf claims a woman raped him during his performance art installation at a gallery in Beverly Hills, where he sat with a bag over his head while member of the public were allowed to visit him one-on-one.

Wears paper bag at premiere
LaBeouf walks the red carpet of the Berlin premiere of Nymphomaniac while wearing a brown paper bag over his head reading, “I am not famous anymore.” According to sources, the actor appeared thinner and a missing bottom tooth which he had shaved down for his role in Fury.
Franco defends LaBeouf
Franco writes an article for the New York Times titled Why Actors Act Out, in which he takes an empathetic view on LaBeouf’s recent behavior. In the article, Franco compares LaBeouf to other actors (including himself) who feel the need to distance themselves from the persona they have created. He goes on to say that an actor’s rebellion against this persona sets in motion a feedback loop where the actor acts out, receives negative publicity, acts out in response to the publicity, and so on.
Mr. LaBeouf has been acting since he was a child, and often an actor’s need to tear down the public creation that constrains him occurs during the transition from young man to adult. I think Mr. LaBeouf’s project, if it is a project, is a worthy one. I just hope that he is careful not to use up all the good will he has gained as an actor in order to show us that he is an artist.
Baldwin: LaBeouf was fired
In a statement to Joe Hagan, Baldwin reveals the reason behind LaBeouf’s hasty exit from Orphans. The actor corroborates that the two had “creative differences,” but goes on to say that the younger actor was ultimately fired. Baldwin says he knew one of them had to go and even volunteered to leave the play rather than LaBeouf.
I said, ‘I’ll tell you what, I’ll go.’ I said don’t fire the kid, I’ll quit. They said no, no, no, no, and they fired him. And I think he was shocked.
‘Cabaret’ arrest
During a performance of Cabaret at a New York City theater, the actor is arrested for criminal trespass and misconduct. LeBeouf was smoking in the theater and slapping strangers on the rear end in addition to yelling loudly at the actors on stage during Act 1. According to the complaint, he was asked to leave and refused, yelling obscenities at the security guard. He was removed from the theater in handcuffs and charged with five counts of disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and harassment.
