W cover
Adams appears on one of seven covers of the February 2015 issue of W magazine.
Vogue cover
Adams appears on the cover of the December issue of Vogue. Adams says she had a bit of a meltdown over turning 40 in August.
I was like, “I’m 40 and I still care what people think of me; I still don’t do laundry so I’m always out of things; I’m just not a grown-up at all,” and I had this expectation that I would be by this age. It wasn’t, “Oh, I’m getting old and I’m going to lose something vibrant about myself.” It was more that I was just so disappointed with myself. It’s just awful. Any chance for self-loathing!
The Hollywood Reporter cover
Swank, Moore, Dern, Arquette, Witherspoon, Adams, and Jones appear on the cover of a November 2014 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine. They talk about their bravest moments as an actress and if their children became actors. Witherspoon:
It’s a wonderful business. I feel like I’ve seen the world. I’ve met amazing people. I used to have all these regrets; I didn’t finish college. And about a year ago it was like, “Why would I regret not finishing college?” I’ve had a wonderful life and I’ve been everywhere and I’ve gotten to work with creative people and tell stories. That’s all I ever wanted to do. So if [my kids] wanted to do it, I’d be very encouraging. I do think it’s hard. I would definitely illuminate all the difficulties. But my kids don’t seem to gravitate toward it anyway. So we’ll see.
Allure cover
Adams appears on the cover of the July 2013 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about being a blank canvas and getting married.
There is a point to it. We both have a very specific idea that we want to do this [the ceremony] in spring or fall, like in those months, but every time I’m busy working. I want something very family oriented and laid-back.
