I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.
Vanity Fair Italia cover
Jolie and Pitt appear on the cover of Vanity Fair Italia, where Pitt opens up about working with his wife
If I’m going to work, I want to work with my wife. [It’s] surprising how much I enjoy the direction of my wife. She’s decisive, incredibly intuitive, knife-sharp, and might I say, sexy at her post. I trust her with my life.
Explains face injury
Pitt explains how he injured his face.
This is what happens when you try to run up steps in the dark, with your arms full, wearing flip flops. Turns out if you then try to stop your forward momentum with your face, the result is road rash.
August Man Singapore cover
Pitt appears on the cover of the December 2014 issue of August Man Singapore magazine. He talks about turning 50, marriage, and producing films.
I like being able to leave my own personal stamp on a film.
British GQ cover
Pitt appears on the cover of the November 2014 issue of British GQ magazine. He talks about his marriage, George Clooney calling him unreachable, and happiness.
I’ve always believed happiness is overrated, you know? It’s those difficult times that inform the next wonderful time, and it’s a series of trade-offs, of events, of wins and losses.
Psychologies cover
Pitt appears on the cover of the November 2014 issue of Psychologies magazine. He talks about his wife Angelina Jolie, being a father, and being a protective parent.
I worry about them all the time. That’s the emotional bond and responsibility that sweeps over you when you have a family to look after. I care about them more than I care about myself, which I think is the real definition of love. You see past yourself and become more generous and giving, and wanting only the best for your family.
Details cover
Pitt appears on the cover of the November 2014 issue of Details magazine. He talks about choosing roles, his love of motorcycles, and being a dad.
I try to carve out time for a solo ride in every country I travel to, from the Highlands of Scotland to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco to the belly of India. I haven’t even come close to fulfilling my list—yet. . . . But, in the traffic of L.A. with a helmet on, I’m just another asshole on the road.
First wedding photos
People and Hello magazines feature the first look at the wedding photos from Pitt and Jolie’s wedding. Jolie’s satin gown was designed by Donatella Versace. The master tailor at Versace, Luigi Massi, sewed drawings made by the couple’s six children into the dress. Jolie:
Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress. He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.
Hello Magazine cover
Jolie and Pitt’s wedding picture is featured on the cover of Hello Magazine. The family made the children a large part of the wedding celebration and planning including the wedding dress. When questioned on their children’s choices for the wedding Jolie replied:
We are discussing it with the children and how they imagine it might be, which is verging on hysterical, how kids envision a wedding. They will, in a way, be the wedding planners. It’s going to be Disney or paintball – one or the other!
Not invited to wedding
Voight does not attend the nuptials between daughter Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, set in Paris. When asked about the nuptials Voight stated:
I’m very happy that I can now legitimately call him my son-in-law, this wonderful fellow who I love, and that they’re very happy.

Wine Spectator cover
Pitt and Perrin appears on the cover of the July 2014 issue of Wine Spectator magazine. Pitt talks about his job in life, his 35-bedroom estate, and his escape from Hollywood.
It’s very peaceful and the antithesis of the drive, the want, the need to get ahead indicative of life in Hollywood. I’m instantly reminded what quiet sounds like.
The Hollywood Reporter cover

Game on, f–ckers
Vanity Fair cover
Pitt appears on the cover of the June 2013 issue of Vanity Fair magazine. World War Z screenwriter, Damon Lindelof talks about Pitt.
He took me through how excited he was when he read the book, what was exciting for him, the geopolitical aspect of it. But when we started working on the script, a lot of that stuff had to fall away for the story to come together. We started shooting the thing before we locked down how it was going to end up, and it didn’t turn out the way we wanted it to.
Esquire cover
Pitt appears on the cover of the June/July 2013 issue of Esquire magazine. He talks about his family, changing the direction of his life, and missing his kids.
I always thought that if I wanted to do a family, I wanted to do it big. I wanted there to be chaos in the house… there’s constant chatter in our house, whether it’s giggling or screaming or crying or banging. I love it. I love it. I love it. I hate it when they’re gone. I hate it. Maybe it’s nice to be in a hotel room for a day – ‘Oh, nice, I can finally read a paper.’ But then, by the next day, I miss that cacophony, all that life.
Esquire interview
Pitt talks about being a drifter in his younger days before he made it in Hollywood:
I’d get so far and then want to do something else. I mean, I’m two credits short of graduating college. Two credits. All I had to do was write a paper. What kind of guy is that? That guy scares me — the guy who always leaves a little on his plate. For a long time, I thought I did too much damage — drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. A guy who felt he grew up in something of a vacuum and wanted to see things, wanted to be inspired. I followed that other thing.
People cover
Jolie and Pitt appears on the cover of People to discuss their engagement and their plans for a non traditional wedding. Jeweler, Neil Lane:
The ring looks like a beautiful classic large diamond with an art deco feel. Brad’s sense of aesthetics is amazing, and knowing Angelina and what an elegant, beautiful woman and style icon she is, it only makes sense that he’d design for her one of the most beautiful rings in the world. They are an amazing, loving couple.
W cover
Pitt appears on the cover of the February 2012 issue of W magazine. He talks about crying during a movie, his parents seeing him die in a movie, and going for the part of a rapist.
Probably not. With this face, I was probably up for the guy with the conscience. I called up afterward and asked, ‘How did I do?’ There were three seconds of silence and then: ‘Have you ever thought about acting classes?’
New York cover
Pitt and Hill appear on the cover of a August 2011 issue of New York magazine. Pitt talks about why he became obsessed with the story and working with Hill.
Jonah’s a revelation in this thing – he’s a study in reserve. I think the most interesting work that’s been going on in the last couple of years is what the comedy guys have been doing. Guys like Jonah and Russell Brand and [Seth] Rogen and a few others … they picked up on an irreverence that started with Adam Sandler and continued with Will Ferrell, but they’ve been grounding it in a kind of pathos and humanity. I find it really strong work.

Pitt appears on the cover of the Fall 2007 issue of V magazine. He talks about becoming a father, the media, and luring the paparazzi to Africa.
It’s fourfold. For one, we know that’s going to happen so it becomes a plus. It’s all about cost and gain, plusses and minuses. Two, and most importantly, we loved the idea of our daughter being born on another continent, something she’ll be able to have roots in as well and want to explore as she gets older. That was the preeminent factor for us. Three, we knew that they had very strong privacy laws there. And we knew there was going to be a huge bounty on our heads and we were going to get very little peace unless we went to a place like that. And four, it happened to be a place that we loved.
