Ejiofor is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Louis Lester on Dancing on the Edge.

I am delighted to be recognized by the Emmys for a role in a project that I am incredibly proud of. Working with Stephen Poliakoff and this amazing ensemble cast and getting to play such an extraordinary character was a tremendous experience.

It’s been an incredible journey with this film. I really – I think it’s just a film we’re all so deeply proud of, and we were just deeply passionate about making. It’s been incredible, the way it’s been received. So I’m kind of thrilled about it.
