McGregor inspires suicidal fan to turn life around
McGregor fan, Tom Nolan, releases a video of his weight loss and mental transformation, inspired by McGregor. Nolan was suffering panic attacks and was suicidal until he saw McGregor face Jose Aldo. He has since lost over one hundred pounds.
How Conor McGregor held himself, how he spoke, his mental state and how he truly had that self-belief was something I took notes on. Was something that I watched deeply and started to say ‘well, if he can think like that, why can’t I?’

McGregor-Mendez corner audio released
The corner audio for McGregor v. Mendez, from UFC 189 is released. After Jose Aldo withdrew from the fight due to a bruised rib, McGregor headed into the bout as favourite with many believing that Mendes’ two week training camp would simply prove to be too little time to prepare. However, Mendes brought McGregor to the mat on several occasions in the two round fight. With Mendes undoubtedly ahead on the judges’ scorecards, McGregor rallied at the end of the second, landing multiple strikes before his left hand eventually found the American’s chin and sent him plummeting to the canvas.

Bellew: I’d take McGregor’s head off
As part of a Snapchat Q&A Bellew is asked if he’d fight McGregor in boxing at Croke park, in Dublin
If he’s weighing 155 and I’m 200 pounds, you are right I’m gonna fight him. I’ll take his head off.
On Mayweather vs. McGregor.
Two totally different sports. If Floyd was to get into a cage with Conor he’d get torn to pieces. He’d literally pull Floyd’s arm off. But if Conor was to get in a boxing ring, and abide by boxing rules, he’d be absolutely outclassed and embarrassed in two to three rounds…Conor’s got a good stand-up game for a UFC fighter. He has an abysmal boxing game. I don’t even think he’d beat British or European champions. But you put him in a cage, the guy’s an animal. He’d pull the arms and legs off you. He’s really that good.
