Will star in Home
Rihanna announces star role in the new DreamWorks film Home, her first lead role in a film. Rihanna plays a tomboy who help a group of aliens, that have taken over the world, called Boovs find a new home. Co-stars of the film are Jennifer Lopez and Steve Martin. Home is due to be released in theatres on November 26. Until then DreamWorks has created a 4 minute prequel titled Almost Home to the movie as a sneak peek.
Rihanna brush off
The actor goes on a Twitter rampage against Rihanna when she refuses to meet with his new fiancee when the three wound up in the same restaurant. He tweets:
So, I took my gal out to dinner last night with her best friends for her Bday. We heard Rihanna was present as well. I sent a request over to her table to introduce my fiancee Scotty to her, as she is a huge fan. (Personally I couldn’t pick her out of a lineup at gunpoint.) Well, the word we received back was that there were too many paps outside and it just wasn’t possible at this time. At this time? AT THIS TIME?? Lemme guess, we’re to reschedule another random 11 million to 1 encounter with her some other night?No biggie for me; it would have been 84 interminable seconds of chugging Draino and ‘please kill me now’ that I’d never get back.My Gal, however, was NOT OK with it. Rihanna invites Kimmel and Pitt to participate in her first annual Diamond Ball to benefit her charity, the Clara Lionel foundation. Kimmel is set to host the event, while Pitt will introduce Rihanna before she performs.
It is such an honor to have Jimmy Kimmel host this event. There is no one more hilarious to make the first annual Diamond Ball an incredible night. I’m blessed by his support. Brad Pitt is not only a phenomenal talent, but I admire him and am inspired by his philanthropic work.

My favorite red-carpet looks are usually the ones I get to help design: the Adam Selman Swarovski crystal dress at the CFDAs, the Stella McCartney all-white dress at the Met Gala, and the Adam Selman white jersey dress from the VMAs. But the red Azzedine Alaïa at the Grammys is also one of my favorites.
I am very ambitious! It’s ridiculous how much I want to put on my plate, which is already full. I am sensitive to what my team is going through. Actually I’m lying. They get no sympathy we love what we do.
