Ashton Kutcher interview

Seacrest interviews Kutcher during On Air With Ryan Seacrest asks if Justin Bieber will prank on the new episode of Punked.

I don’t know anything about that. I have no idea what is going on there. That Bieber kid is great. I’ve been so diligently working on my new television sitcom “Two and a Half Men” that I have had time to do absolutely nothing else and you know that I am not a good multitasker.

Ellen DeGeneres interview

Seacrest interviews DeGeneres during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about Chaz Bono’s sex change.

I don’t understand why it is such a big deal to people what other people do with their lives. Feeling like he was not in the right body and now he is. He is going out on television and trying to live his life and people are upset about it. I think it is a brave thing to do.

Giuliana Rancic interview

Seacrest interviews Rancic during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about how drama between her and LeAnn Rimes started.

What was happening was, I wasn’t actually on Fashion Police. They’ve got the story wrong. For Huffington Post, I was doing an interview over there, we were talking about the new restaurant, and he said, ‘What celebrity would you like to feed who you think is really skinny right now? So the first person that came to mind, because of that bikini shot of her a couple of weeks ago had just come out, I said, ‘LeAnn Rimes.’ I said, ‘I know she’s lost a lot of weight, but I like her when she’s curvier because I interviewed LeAnn Rimes when she was on a Shape Magazine cover just come out and I thought she looked amazing.’ So that’s all I said. It was pretty harmless. I wasn’t saying she’s like ugly-skinny or you know, needs to gain weight. It was just like I like her curvier.

Robert Pattinson interview

Seacrest interviews Pattinson during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about how fame has changed his life.

In LA I have at least 40 seconds from the moment I arrive somewhere, before I get asked for my autograph. It’s Twitter’s fault. If this website didn’t exist, I’d be in peace. When I cross a glance at someone, they hurry to get their phone out. I know perfectly well that I’m screwed and that I’m going to spend a big part of my day shaking people off. It’s frustrating.

Rihanna interview

Seacrest interviews Rihanna during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about choosing what to wear for her Armani jeans campaign.

Getting dressed, I want to pick the most bizarre pair of shorts so I can figure out how to make it look right, or work an outfit that will make people go, ‘What the hell is she wearing?’

Nicole Richie interview

Seacrest interviews Richie during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her feud with Jessica Simpson on their tv show Fashion Star.

Well, I’ll tell you right now that that couldn’t be further from the truth. I actually love and adore Jessica. I think that she is I’ve known her for years, first of all. I already knew who she was as a person, and who she is, is someone who is very kind, very sweet, and extremely smart and a great business woman. And someone that I really respect.

Carrie Underwood interview

Seacrest interviews Underwood during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about working on new music for her fans.

I’ve been writing quite a bit. And I’ve been in the studio a little bit. So I probably have about half an album done right now and trying to fill in the gaps and figure out what pieces of the puzzle are missing, but it’s a fun time right now figuring everything out.

Ricki Lake interview

Seacrest interviews Lake during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about Nicki Minaj dissing her in the Till The World Ends remix.

I’ve been playing “Super Bass” in my car all day. I love her. But I was like, ‘Wait a minute! That’s a diss.’ And I knew I was doing a talk show next year. I have a book coming out. I knew I was doing this. I’m like, yeah, I’m hot now baby! Ricki Lake’s hot again.

Rob Kardashian interview

Seacrest interviews Kardashian during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about if the male dancers on Dancing With The Stars hit on the female dancers.

When you’re a dancer and you just can take your shirt off whenever you want and you can touch girls whenever you want because that’s your profession, naturally your goal is to hit on every girl.

Chaz Bono interview

Seacrest interviews Bono during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about why he wanted to be a part of Dancing With The Stars.

It gave me an opportunity to really physically challenge myself. For so many years, I was uncomfortable with my body. And now finally being comfortable in it for the first time, doing something like this was really appealing to me.

Kjerstin Gruys interview

Seacrest interviews Gruys during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about why she decided to not use mirrors for a year.

I was shopping for wedding dresses with my mom and I kind of expected it to be one of those amazing moments in my life, when all I felt were good feelings. Instead I just found myself staring at my body in the mirror for hours on end and picking it apart. I really want to learn about myself and I want to think of myself as more than just somebody who looks good or has a bad hair day. I want to emphasize all the other amazing things I have going on in my life and the unique things that make me myself that don’t have anything to do with my looks.

David Arquette interview

Seacrest interviews Arquette during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about who he is most looking forward to working with on Dancing With The Stars.

I look forward to having some time where I can just sit and talk to him. Because Alexis, my sister, is transgender. I grew up with her and I saw some of the struggles that she had. So, I feel like we could have a great connection on that and I have a ton of respect for doing this, it is a big challenge for everyone and it’s puts you out there. I just think it’s great.

Paul Rudd interview

Seacrest interviews Rudd during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about jokingly throwing away Harvey Weinstein’s Oscar.

It was kind of legitimately scary. Even if you’re playing around and he’s a good sport, it’s still weird to insult the guy and throw his Oscar in the trash in front of him.

Lucy Hale interview

Seacrest interviews Hale during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her character Aria’s romance with Ezra.

I can say when the show comes back in January their [Ezra & Aria] taking their relationship to the next level. Not marriage, but their going to a little more open about it.

25 Aug, 2011

Olivia Wilde interview

Seacrest interviews Wilde during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about what being an actress means to her.

It really makes me feel proud to be in the movie business because it shows the power of story telling and how we can bring joy to these people’s lives. You know, a little escapism.

Katie Holmes interview

Seacrest interviews Holmes during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about how she felt when she read the script for the film Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.

When I read it, it was very scary and I actually started hearing noises in my house because the characters felt so real to me that I believed all of the scares. I identified with all of these characters and I was thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, what would I do [in that situation]. Oh my gosh, what was that?!’ It was so well written.

Joe Jonas interview

Seacrest interviews Jonas during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about how the paparazzi caught him ignoring his long time friend Shia LaBeouf on the street.

If you look at the photo close enough, he does not look like the normal Shia LaBeouf at all. Actually this is kind of funny. So, I’m walking, I’m walking and I had no paparazzi following me. All of a sudden, I see all these photographers and I’m thinking, ‘Oh they must have saw me walking’ or something as I passed the restaurant and then I turn around and I’m like, ‘Wait was that?’ and the paparazzi are like, ‘Hey Joe, you didn’t even say hi to your friend Shia LaBeouf!’ and I’m like, ‘What!?

Demi Lovato interview

Seacrest interviews Lovato during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about who her favorite moments in the studio.

One of the best expereinces I’ve had was definitely flying down to Miami to go work with Timbaland and Missy Elliot. Missy Elliot got on one of the tracks, and its called ‘All Night Long.‘ It was really fun.

Denise Richards interview

Seacrest interviews Richards during On Air With Ryan Seacrest asks if she would go back and get married to Charlie Sheen again knowing what she knows now.

Absolutely, because he gave me the two greatest gifts [in] our daughters! I really believe that people come in to our life, and we learn different things. I honestly believe that he has been one of my greatest teachers as far as life lessons. As painful as it all was I would do it all again because I have amazing children.

Kim Kardashian interview

Seacrest interviews Kardashian during On Air With Ryan Seacrest asks if she will carry something of her father Robert Kardashian down the aisle  on her wedding day.

Absolutely, I’m having something always with me. You know when you lose someone that’s so close to you these are the moments that you wish your dad can be here. You will feel the heart in this whole ceremony, and the whole reception, and the whole atmosphere, I think you’ll feel the presence of my dad. You will feel the love in this room, and that’s what going to be the best part of this whole night. I’ve had those moments when I’ve cried to Bruce [Jenner], and its been emotional. That’s only expected, and I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t. So you’ll feel the presence of my dad a lot.

Jennifer Love Hewitt interview

Seacrest interviews Hewitt during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her role in the film Cafe.

It’s a really interesting movie. Because it is going along and then you sort of start to put all the pieces together and you realize, my character in particular, is given interesting information in the movie about how all these people at this cafe are connected.

Jessie Eisenberg interview

Seacrest interviews Eisenberg during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his film 30 Minutes Or Less.

Its really funny with the same director as ‘Zombieland’ so it has similar pace and tone. The storyline is insane about these two regular guys. I play a pizza guy, and Aziz Ansari plays my friend who is an elementary school teacher, who has to rob a bank. He’s a terribly lazy guy, and we are terrible criminals.

Will.i.am interview

Seacrest interviews Will.i.am during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about working with Justin Bieber.

Justin as an artist has to fight. Micheal Jackson fought, Prince fought, the ones that stood around for a long time are the ones that are always fighting for something. We know the ones that get comfortable and then their career is short, ‘Oh I remember that one song he had, that was cool. I want to get Justin Bieber into writing his own music and producing his own songs.

Ashley Fink interview

Seacrest interviews Fink during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about a possible Glee movie.

It’s a natural progression. Glee is very real to life. Ryan’s excited, he’s a creator so that’s exactly what he’s doing. He’s got all these ideas and that’s just one idea that he was talking about that everyone got attached to and it kind of became an explosion.

Ryan Reynolds interview

Seacrest interviews Reynolds during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about the first time he met co-star Jason Bateman.

I’ve known Jason Bateman since I was 19, and he was the first guy that was nice to me in Los Angeles when I moved here. I’m sure he was drunk and high at the time. So I had a great first experience with him. I actually had thrown up on a guy, and there was Ryan to help me clean it up.

Chris Evans interview

Seacrest interviews Evans during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his character Captain America.

Captain America doesn’t have any experience with the ladies so he’s very nervous, awkward, and clunky. Its a new romance for him. When he becomes Captain America he does a little bit better, but he’s new to that world. He’s just a modest guy. I don’t think he has the confidence that a good looking well built kind of a guy has. I think he’s kind of internal.

Mila Kunis interview

Seacrest interviews Kunis during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her film Friends With Benifits.

It is good in theory, but horrible in execution. As Justin and I put it this past weekend, you either get promoted or you get fired. It can’t last very long, because ultimately somebody will get feelings. Inevitably.

13 Jul, 2011

Tom Cruise interview

Seacrest interviews Cruise during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his role in the film Rock Of Ages.

I’ve never done a musical, and I’m having a blast. Learning a lot. I’ve always loved music. There’s nothing like trying to do something yourself to give you an even greater appreciation for what this art form is. Its fantastic. I love this character, and working with Adam and the cast, and everyone there is just outstanding across the board.

12 Jul, 2011

Joe Manganiello interview

Seacrest interviews Manganiello during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about some of the special request his fans ask him for.

This guy came up to me and said ‘Hey, can she take a picture sitting on your lap?’ and I said ‘It’s really not appropriate this is my fiance sitting here, I really don’t think it’s appropriate,’ and he said ‘Dude, this is my wife.’ and it’s happened multiple times. I don’t know if it was like they have their freebie lists, like if you ever meet him you get the hall pass.

Cat Deeley interview

Seacrest interviews Deeley during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her So You Think You Can Dance barbecue.

I actually get very attached to the dancers, and so the way I have learned to deal with it is, I hold a 4th of July barbecue at my house. Where we do hamburgers and hot dogs and everybody swims in the pool. It generally ends up in a bit of a dance off.

Chris Martin interview

Seacrest interviews Martin during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about the late release of Coldplay’s next album.

The only thing I can tell you is that it is difficult. It’s hard to finish, it’s like trying to get to the final of and you know how hard that is. In all honesty I think it will be finished in about two weeks time. I really hope so, we’ve worked a long time. All I know is that we have tried as hard as we can on this one.

Heidi Montag interview

Seacrest interviews Montag during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her TV show Famous Food.

It’s mayhem! We need to build a restaurant from scratch. We need to find a concept, agree on it, and build it while competing independently, but we have to work collectively as a group too. Thats what was so difficult! Everyone wants their ideas to stand out, but you have to work together. We have to hire a chef, his staff, and at the end you have the potential of winning some ownership in the restaurant.

David Guetta interview

Seacrest interviews Guetta during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about working with Black Eye Peas on the single I Gotta Feeling.

Will.i.am one day sent me a text message, I was really not famous in America, but because he was spending time in Europe he heard my music and I heard after that he was looking for me. There is a record shop for DJs, called Beatport, he met with them and said ‘Do you know this guy David Guetta and how to reach him?’ So, imagine I am just a European DJ and I receive an email, ‘Hi, this is Will.i.am, do you want to make music for Black Eyed Peas? At the time hip-hop artists working with electronic artists did not exist. It’s kind of weird because I wanted to do this, I had record with kelly Rowland “When Love Takes Over,” and this record with Akon, almost at the same time as “I Got a Feeling.” So, I said ‘That is it, that is what I want to do! I want to create that bridge between urban culture from America and electronic culture from Europe,’ but I had no idea it was going to become this thing of American pop music.

Alex Morgan interview

Seacrest interviews Morgan during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and about playing in the Olympics.

It just feels bigger here. We are a small piece to a bigger picture. This is Team USA and there’s so many people behind us. There’s so many people with us. I mean, we just got to the Olympic Village a couple days ago because we’ve been traveling around all of the UK, so being here, we get to see the bigger picture and get to be a part of something great.
