We actually wrote the song probably three years ago and it never made the record. We were at my house, writing for this record and we went back to it and listened to it and we were like ‘Man, there is something great about this, but the chorus sucks.’ So, we scraped it and completely rewrote it. We made it more major and uplifting and it went from being a song that was going nowhere, to the first single.
