High school senior year, my buddies and I went down to spring break in Pensacola, Florida. We didn’t fit in at all, and of course, there was no getting laid happening. And this doctor kept going, Now exactly what did you do down there at spring break? It turns out I had a yeast infection in my esophagus. And he kept trying to get me to tell him about whatever crazy sexual thing that happened, and I’m like, Man, I swear it was a Hardee’s biscuit.

KLAC in Los Angeles interview
Krzyzewski talks about possibly coaching the Los Angeles Lakers:
Well, I don’t reflect back because it was so intense and there was so much going on at that moment that you were lucky to have that opportunity. And it was fairly close because Mitch Kupchak did an amazing job – and has done an amazing job since then – and L.A. is a storied franchise and you’d have a chance to coach Kobe but at the end of the day, I really love coaching in college and coaching at Duke.

Miller talks about accepting the head basketball coach position at Arizona:
Me, picking up and leaving Xavier University, a lot of people out here may not understand the great tradition we had going on out there and the team we had coming back. I wasn’t going to leave there unless I felt it was one of the top places in the country to coach college basketball and at the end of the day, when you have that opportunity, it may never come again. I feel very fortunate to be here, honored to be the coach and hopeful that we can have the success here in the future that we’ve had over a quarter of the century.

Calhoun talks about Connecticut playing at a fast pace:
We got to pick the pace up, because Tommy – I’m not exaggerating here – Bill Self used to have a pretty thick playbook, Tommy’s is twice as thick as that. You need to get them into a game where they aren’t just in the half-court set running all kinds of beautiful stuff. They run half-court offense. Tommy Izzo probably runs as good as stuff as there is in the country. They’re the number one rebounding team in the country – we happen to be number two by the way. It looks to be a pretty great battle.

Wright speaks about possibly coaching in the NBA:
I don’t even want to look at other options. I want to be at Villanova and I don’t see any reason why I won’t be at Villanova no matter what college offers or NBA offers come. As long as you have your people in place, I have a great AD, a great president, so I hope to be here a long time.
