West is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame under the category of Television. In attendance and to help present the award is Family Guy producer Seth McFarlane. McFarlane praised West stating:
It is my hope that at age 110, I will see you at Family Guy conventions, signing autographs for a whole new generation of loners and psychopaths.

The first time I saw Bill he was wearing an Izod shirt with a tie and I thought, “Man, his wife is gorgeous.”

Macy is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame under the category of Motion Pictures. In a rare double ceremony, his wife, actress Felicity Huffman is also inducted into the Walk of Fame. Celebrating with them are friends Marcia Cross and Vanessa Williams. During his induction speech, Macy tells the audience how he met his wife:
First time I saw Felicity, she was at an acting class. She was wearing a silk, cream-colored blouse with no bra, and I thought, ‘Man, this girl can act.’

I would like to give thanks to Nancy Cartwright who channeled a ten-year -troubled boy the day I met her in 1987.

It feels very surreal to be honest. I was born here and it’s sort of something you went and saw as a kid and got excited about just walking and seeing the names. To imagine that you’re going to be there is really special. It’s fun.

McCartney is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame under the category of Recording. There to celebrate his award are his family and close friends Elvis Costello, Herbie Hancock, and Neil Young.
In Liverpool, when we were kids and listening to Buddy Holly and all the other rock and roll greats, I would have never thought the day would come when I’d be getting a star on the Walk of Fame. I thought it was an impossible thing to happen. But here we are today.
