Busted Open Radio interview

Interview0 Comments

Angle talks  to Busted Open Radio about injury recovery and Bound for Glory.

Basically putting God first. Realizing my whole life has been revolved around me and high expectations of myself and never really enjoying what I have done and what I have accomplished, whether it be in the Olympics or in pro wrestling. I have never really been satisfied.

Aries talks to DirecTV about his favorite opponent, Bobby Heenan.

Bobby Heenan is one of my favorites of all time. Even back in the AWA, I just always thought he was great. And obviously The Horsemen dominating as well as Dusty Rhodes, Nikita Koloff, Magnum T.A., The Midnight Express, and The Freebirds. Of course Jake Roberts and Rick Rude. Those are the guys I grew up watching and idolizing.

The Art of Wrestling interview

Interview0 Comments

Shark Boy is a guest on The Art of Wrestling to discuss TNA, wrestling and his gimmick.

I learned very early on that kids love dinosaurs, robots and sharks. So I became a shark. I was on the TNA video game even though I wasn’t in a top spot and the toy guys were the same way. It’s a very marketable character.

Wrestleinc.com interview

Interview0 Comments

Morgan talks to Wrestleinc.com about meeting with vince McMahon and leaving TNA.

I was about to start a story line, a pretty major one actually. Unfortunately it just didn’t materialize and they went in a different direction with another person’s character. I 100% understand why they had to do it with this particular character, but as far as I’m concerned with my storyline, that left me odd man out where I was going to be taking some time off and sitting at home again.

V2 Wrestling interview

Interview0 Comments

Aries talks to V2 Wrestling about Kevin Nash, nearly retiring and TNA.

“I had made the decision (to retire). It was just one of those situations where I didn’t feel that I was getting back what I was putting in. I didn’t want to be a prisoner to the world of wrestling; I didn’t want to be a guy who was trying to hustle every weekend and do a convention. I didn’t want to be Randy The Ram in 10, 20 years. I felt at that point of my life I was ok with transitioning into something else, and I’d stopped taking bookings and had nothing on my schedule, and before that really sunk in I got a call from TNA offering me the opportunity to come down there for an X Division qualifying match. and I figured, well why not take one more pay day, that certainly can’t hurt!

Houston Wrestling Radio interview

Interview0 Comments

Hernandez talks to Houston Wrestling Radio  about his career highlights and breaking into TNA.

I basically took chances. I was the top draw in Houston for two or three years. My pockets weren’t getting any bigger. And unfortunately for pro-wrestling, it’s not a team sport. If you want to make it, you have to go out there and take chances. Necro Butcher taught me that first-hand. He left Houston. He made his name on the east coast doing hardcore stuff. I did it the hard way. I went to Japan three or four times, I went to Mexico. I wrestled there with a mask when TNA called me.

James talks to Big WrestleShark Show about TNA downsizing and her music.

Aside from it being awesome because I’m the champion? Yeah it has gone through a little bit, but the company as a whole is going through a bit of a change right now. It’s always very sad to see your friends and colleagues go, it’s kind of bitter sweet because you know you’re going to run into each other somewhere down the road.
