Mara appears on the cover of the January 2012 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about acting in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and the transformation she had to undergo.
And I thought, She has it in the book, and she should have it (in the movie). Because of all the tattoos and the makeup and the piercings, and the physical transformations my body has to go through, it would always feel sort of like I was in costume, even if I was naked. It just felt like a good one to get—a necessary one to get.

Michele appears on the cover of the December 2011 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about people trying to change her and accidently being a diva.
I came from the theater world, where the word ‘diva’ was awesome. But it’s different in Los Angeles. And this all happened to me so quickly. But I came to L.A., and the first audition I went on was for Glee. And I was on the show two months later and had a very different life.

Wilde appears on the cover of the October 2011 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about dating rumours, divorce, and acting in In Time.
We were rehearsing, and I remember the director saying, ‘No, stop! It looks like you’re going to make out.’ ‘Nope—that looks like you’re going to make out, too.’ We were like, ‘Oh, God.’ I had to find a way to think of him as my son.

Hayek appears on the cover of the September 2011 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about her skin, her breasts and being at ease with her sexuality at 40.
As a woman, you should be more at ease with your sexuality when you are in your 40s. You are more self-assured about that part. And that’s the way it should be. If you are a girl who cannot walk in heels, it doesn’t matter how beautiful you are. If you look like a chicken that’s been spiked in the feet, it’s not going to be sexy.

Alba appears on the cover of the August 2011 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about how having a kid changed her views on her sexuality.
There’s a reason why certain areas of the body are desirable—because it all leads to reproduction. There’s a science behind it all. It’s not just to sell whatever you’re selling on a billboard or a magazine or a movie.

Fergie appears on the cover of the July 2011 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about surgery rumours, what she does to stay fit, and dieting.
I have a meal-delivery service: Diet Designs. They’re amazing—they’ll have butter lettuce and avocado and pink grapefruit. They do butternut-squash enchiladas, which are really good. I also get these pressed juices delivered to my house, so I get all these different and wonderful vegetables. My problem is my discipline. I see a Jack in the Box or a Del Taco, and I will impulsively want it. I’m a work in progress in that area.

Jones appears on the cover of the June 2011 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about her apartment, the wardrobe of her photo shoot, and why she broke up with her boyfriend.
When you date someone else who’s in the industry, someone has to make the sacrifices. And if no one’s willing to, then you just have to be friends. ‘I’m sorry, I need to go away for three months and kiss other men while you stay here.’

Conrad appears on the cover of the May 2011 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about not being sexy and the last season of The Hills.
Towards the end, I was so tired. I was showing up to the club in flip-flops, and [the cameramen] would be like, ‘Great, now we can’t film your feet, because you couldn’t bother putting on a pair of shoes.’

Longoria appears on the cover of the April 2011 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about her break up with her boyfriend.
I’m used to always being on a plane and flying to a basketball game. It’s been—every time I talk about it, I want to cry. It’s been hard. Very hard. I’m just trying to get through it as gracefully as possible without any drama.

Beckham appears on the cover of the March 2011 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about her fitness routine and living in America.
Living in America was the happiest I think I’ve ever been. It was much more accepting for a woman to have a career, as well as a man.

Swift appears on the cover of the December 2010 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about Justin Bieber and how she used to give bad relationship advice.
Like, the best way to get a guy to like you would be to actively ignore him. I was filled with advice! I’d tell my friends things like, Don’t accept that apology! That isn’t sincere! Or He hung out with his ex-girlfriend? Get rid of him. But love is never that simple. Now I’m finally getting the idea it’s the one thing I don’t need to have a strategy for. I can only write the material I know, which is what happens to me.

Moore appears on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about staying out in the sun, getting older, and plastic surgery.

Kardashian appears on the cover of the September 2010 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about her sex tape and wanting to be on reality tv as a kid.
It was humiliating. But now let’s move on. Not that I don’t think it’s [no one’s] business, but I think I’ve done a good job of replacing negative things with positive things. Doing a show with my entire family, I think people got to see the real me.
