O’Brien is cast in Teen Wolf and will play the character Stiles.

Auditions for Teen Wolf

O’Brien auditions for Teen Wolf:

My character isn’t original. He’s based off of Stiles in the original movie so, when I first read this pilot “Teen Wolf” script, I didn’t know about the movie and I fell in love with the Stiles character, which is testament to Jeff Davis’s writing because that’s what the audience is supposed to do. I wanted to go in and audition for Stiles.

Watson is cast for the role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.  Watson recalls the audition as a happy accident when casting agents visited different British schools asking if they had any children who would like to audition.  Her Oxford theater teacher recommended her to the agents and the producers were impressed with Watson’s confidence. After eight auditions, producer David Heyman told Watson and Grint that they had been cast as the lead roles of Hermione and Ron, respectively.

I was asked up to David Heymen’s office with Rupert. [He] sat me down and said, ‘You’ve got the part.’ Ahhh! It was so cool. Best experience of my life. Scariest experience of my life. Too much to take in. I was in awe.
