Taylor Swift interview

Seacrest interviews Swift during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about secret messages she hides in her album liner notes.

In my album booklets, I love to have the lyrics written out to the songs, but using capital letters I like to encode secret messages into the lyrics. So either all the words are lowercase and there is random capital letters or all the words are capital and there is random lowercase and if you write out all those odd letters, it spells out either a story or a message. I love that part of it. I think an album should be so many different things. It should be even a game.

Seacrest interviews Swift during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about going from country music to pop music.

The best choices are bold choices. With my last album Red, I kind of had one foot in pop and one foot in country, and that’s really no way to walk and get anywhere. If you want to continue to evolve, I think eventually you have to pick a lane, and I just picked the one that felt more natural to me at this point in my life.

The Talks interview

Rossellini gives an interview to The Talks. She discusses why she went back to university and humor being the best way to teach people.

Yeah, I think so. Some of these things we’ve learned at school, but they’re taught with such big, complicated words. We can’t understand it. But I see myself as an entertainer, I don’t see myself as an educator. I’ve always been an entertainer all my life, I come from a family of entertainers. I always made, very pretentiously, a comparison with Agatha Christie. Her inspiration was crime, and I’m sure she must have taken courses or read about crime, because it was the basis of her stories. But ultimately it was her own fantasy. So I still see myself as an entertainer whose inspiration is science.

Triple H talks to WWE.com about the future of WWE.

You can’t hold the future off, the future is coming. If you handle it the right way, you end up like me. There’s a point in time where people said Triple H was becoming the past. Now people are saying I’m the future.

Ring Rust Radio interview

Ross talks to Ring Rust Radio about his future with wrestling and which match he wishes he could have called in history.

Well I think probably the one I would have liked to call was the main event of WrestleMania 3. It was such a ground breaking event. If you’re going to be a part of a ground breaking event, you want to be a part of the main event. I would say Hogan and Andre at WrestleMania 3. It was such a simplistic match to call, it would have been very easy to call it from a stand point of what they did, but the drama one could add to the moment and to what the match meant.

Shape Magazine interview

Bolton speaks to Shape Magazine about living in an abusive marriage.

I felt like I could do whatever I wanted on the basketball court. If I needed to defend someone and keep them from scoring, I could do that. In my personal life, however, living in an abusive marriage, I let the power of fear and guilt take over. We could be watching TV and he might say, ‘Oh, is that how he’d kiss you?, and then start pulling out my braids. I always kept a bag with some clothes and a credit card at a friend’s house just in case. One night, when he was heavily drinking, I knew I was in trouble. He was sitting on the living room floor with a gun in his hand, asking me to come here from the kitchen. I was stalling, hoping he’d fall asleep. But when he didn’t and began calling me names, I decided to go out the backdoor, through the garage and run to my neighbor’s to call my friend. I just took off barefoot.

Jordan-ESPN interview

Jordan talks seventh ring and competing against LeBron James in an interview with ESPN.

I’m always dreaming about that seventh ring. Always. The six that I actually won, I impacted from a whole different angle. Now I’m impacting from a totally different perspective and it’s not as much fun, but it’s a lot harder. We need someone that can compete against LeBron, simple as that. I don’t know if the antics were one of those things, but the thing was ‘I love the way you competed against LeBron’ and to me that’s a plus. …if you only get out of the East, you want to get past Cleveland — at the time it was miami — you’ve got to beat LeBron, so we’re willing to take a gamble with you if you’re willing to take a gamble with us.

Hollywood Life interview

Rose discusses her relationship and upcoming divorce from estranged husband Wiz Khalifa in an interview with Hollywood Life.

We were married and he has always been my best friend so regardless of us not being married anymore, we still have a baby together. We still love each other and we are always going to love each other forever. And that’s just how it is. We are human and I think a lot of people look at celebrities as robots and think we don’t have feelings. [They think we are like], ‘Who cares I’m getting a divorce, let me go out there and have sex with everyone,’ [but] it doesn’t work like that. I have feelings and so does he, and people deal with their emotions differently. We still love each other and we still love our son.

Simmons says women should not depend on men in an interview on Fox News, Trending with Tantaros to promote his new self-help book, Me, Inc.: Build an Army of One, Unleash Your Inner Rock God, Win in Life and Business.

This is a very complex and difficult question to answer so I’m going to put it as simply as possible. Women: Stop depending on men. It’s as simple as that. Imagine there are no men in life. Find out that thing that you’re good for that makes the money and then get married and or have children from a position of strength.

We Close Tonight interview

The band are interviewed by London-based music blog, We Close Tonight. On Manchester’s live scene:

Yeah, Kurt had been in a band with David as well before so we were all familiar with the live scene in Manchester. I think our first gig as Omerta was at Band On The Wall and probably our first gig as SRC was at Ruby Lounge. We’ve played a few places around Manchester, some of the newer venues as well like Soup Kitchen and The Castle we’ve played recently. There was a thing in the press recently about it being the most live venues in the country of any city. There’s a lot of choice. There’s not always people there. More recently there tends to be more people. These venues become trendy and suddenly they’re not trendy any more. It’s a cool city for music.

Sabu is a guest on Talk is Jericho to discuss ECW and being one of the first guys to use tables in wrestling matches.

They (critics) said it wasn’t wrestling. I started making it wrestling by using the time keeper’s table at ringside. At first I wouldn’t bring it in the ring. Later on promoters forced me to so everyone in the crowd could see it

Sporting News interview

Hardy talks to Sporting News about the independent scene and making good money without WWE.

I do some really cool stuff. It’s not as glamorous as being in the WWE, but the fact of the matter is I’m having fun and I’m still being able to do what was my dream as a child and that’s be a professional wrestler. And I’m still making fantastic money. I have no complaints on that end.

Billboard interview

Parton discusses Christianity and her large following from the LGBT community in an interview with Billboard. Parton, when asked about her large LGBT following:

They know that I completely love and accept them, as I do all people. I’ve struggled enough in my life to be appreciated and understood. I’ve had to go against all kinds of people through the years just to be myself. I think everybody should be allowed to be who they are, and to love who they love. I don’t think we should be judgmental. Lord, I’ve got enough problems of my own to pass judgment on somebody else.

Damian Lillard interview

Lillard appears on Conan and talks about the growing up playing basketball without a hoop, his famous “Dame-face”, and why he chose the number 0 for his jersey. He also demonstrates his four-bar rapping skills.

Well, it started off on a tree. There was a tree in front of my grandmother’s house. I would shoot over the tree branch. That was my hoop. The grandfather cut down the tree so I ended up nailing a milk carton to a telephone pole. It’s round, you can’t shoot off the back bound. It helped me learn how to shoot over the rim better.

Shape Magazine interview

Galpin talks to Shape Magazine about creating the Mountain2Mountain organization.

My sister had been raped on her college campus and I had also been raped when I was 18 and nearly killed. We were 10 years apart and attacked at relatively the same age 18 and 20, in two different states, Minnesota and Colorado and that made me realize that the world needed to change, and I needed to be part of that. I knew that I had a unique insight into gender violence; and also being a mother, I wanted the world to be a safer, better place for women.

DC101 interview

Lee talks to DC101 about potential challengers for the WWE Diva’s Championship once her feud with Paige is finished.

I see so much potential in people who haven’t particularly gotten that opportunity yet, like Emma and Summer and even Lana. I think they are interesting characters and women who have a lot of potential and I would love to something that’s vastly different with one of those girls. Just someone we haven’t seen yet get a chance.
