Discusses Kardashian, West Vogue cover

Wintour discusses her decision to put Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the cover of Vogue during a talk at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I think if we just remain deeply tasteful and just put deeply tasteful people on the cover it would be a rather boring magazine. Nobody would talk about us. It’s very important that people do talk about us.

GQ cover

chris prattPratt is featured on the cover of GQ as one of it’s Men of the Year. Pratt says he would like to become a director in an interview with the magazine.

I’m always biting my tongue. When I’m on set, I kind of wish I could just tell everybody what to do. If I could tell everybody what to do, it would be great, and it would be done faster. And so that’s what I’m working toward. I want control. I want control over something. I have to get better at writing, because the stuff that I have written, no one bought. Maybe they’ll buy it now, because they can put my name on it, but I’d be in a bad movie that I wrote. So I just want to make sure that I stay working hard. I think I will. I hope I will.

channing-tatum-doesnt-know-if-he-will-spank-his-childTatum appears on the cover of a November 2014 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine. He talks about having another child, spanking as discipline, and using drugs when he was a stripper.

I wouldn’t say I was losing myself in drugs because I wasn’t doing anything habitually. Just experimenting. Experimenting, I would say. Never the big ones — crack or heroin. I never OD’d or anything. Never.

kkcover1(rgb)watermarkKardashian poses for the ‘acceptable for the workplace’ Winter issue cover of Paper magazine dressed in a black gown, balancing a champagne glass on her derriere. Kardashian discusses Keeping up with the Kardashians and social media.

I don’t think social media was that heavy when we started our show, but I think we really evolved with social media. I love sharing my world with people. That’s just who I am.

Marie Claire cover

cameronDiaz appears on the November cover of Marie Claire magazine.

I’m not looking for a husband or marriage or not not looking for that stuff. I’m living, and not thinking what I should or shouldn’t be doing with my life. We live in a society where everyone has kids, so they want other people to have kids. There is this culture that says celebrities are supposed to be just like us, so people think, ‘I have children, why doesn’t she?’ But I’m not going to do something because it’s expected. If a family happens, then it happens. If children come to me, then I would do that, but I’m not someone who feels like she has to do something because it’s expected.

Billboard cover

nicki-minaj-billboard-magazine-coverMinaj appears on the cover of a November 2014 issue of Billboard magazine. She talks about her time at American Idol, staying competitive, and the criticism of her Anaconda video.

Everything we see that’s labeled as beautiful is very skinny. In the song I kind of say, ‘F— them skinny girls.’ But it’s all love. I consider myself a skinny girl. I went overboard with the video to show that I’m not going to hide. And those big-booty dancers I have, they’re not going to hide. Black girls should feel sexy, powerful and important too.

Shortlist cover

Dornan appears on the cover of a November 2014 issue of Shortlist magazine. He talks about Fifty Shades of Grey.

Well, my wife is a brilliant, hugely understanding person, plus, she was an actress for ten years, so she’s aware of what it’s like. A lot of people would have had a sh*t fit at 30-something weeks pregnant, hearing, ‘Darling, we’re going to Vancouver this week for four months – we’re going to have a Canadian baby and I’m going to do a film where, for parts of it, I will be naked.’ That’s a tough pitch, but my wife is an incredible person.

Munn appears on the cover of the November 2014 issue of Self magazine. She talks about The Newsroom, kindergarten, and how she stays in shape.

I remember being in kindergarten and him telling me it was stupid to think I could even be an actress. He said it in a very factual way. He was like, ‘You’d have to be beautiful, smart and talented. And you’re not.’ I just thought, If somebody else can do it, why can’t I?

Allure cover

Washington appears on the cover of the November 2014 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about career challenges, sex scenes, and Scandal.

They’re hard to do. Sex scenes are always awkward. You’re doing things that you’re supposed to do with only certain people in your life. Because this is not your real partner in life, doing that is awkward. And then doing it in a room full of people is awkward.

Flare cover

Rocha appears on the cover of the November 2014 issue of Flare magazine. She talks about knowing her designers, blissful ignorance, and faking it till you make it. Rocha is also a guest editor for Flare.

A lot of designers give models a little thing here and there to thank them for their work. My first was a Louis Vuitton bag that the casting director presented to me on bended knee in this very regal way, saying, “Here, Coco, I hand you a gift.” I just blurted out, “Wow, this is my first real Louis Vuitton bag!” I thought it was a reasonable thing to say—my mom was a flight attendant, and she’d bring me imitations from Asia all the time—but now I look back and think it’s probably best not to admit to having a knock-off designer bag.

Maxim Australia cover

Azalea appears on the cover of the November 2014 issue of Maxim Australia magazine. She does not want to be on the cover, her Australian label sold the image on the cover without Azalea’s permission.

I’m going to publicly say something to the Australian division of my record label right now because my message seems to be ignored privately, stop giving permission on my behalf for magazines to purchase images of me that have already been printed in major publications for covers.
