Jennifer Lopez interview

Interview0 Comments

Seacrest interviews Lopez during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her single Dance Again.

First of all I love it. I love being able to collaborate with the producer RedOne again, and working with Pitbull again. We had a great chemistry the last time, and it was like ‘We’re going to have to do something again.’ And this was the perfect song. I love the message of the song. That when something bad happens, your life is not over. You have to get up. You’re gonna live. You’re gonna to be okay. You’re gonna dance again.

Carvey appears on Conan and jokes about the making of Wayne’s World 3. Carvey also does a few presidential impersonations and talks about his parenting strategy.

It’s funny when you’re “Captain No” as a parent, your kids come up with plans. And you just have to listen to the plans. And this is what I’m hearing, stuff like, “Uh dad, we’re going to drive to Lake Tahoe tonight, we’re going to leave at one in the morning, and we’re going to drive all night.” I’m going to have to say no.

The Talks interview

Interview0 Comments

Clark gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses the difficulties of taking pictures of skater kids.

Well everybody knows Kids. So there is a calling card that I have there. It’s funny, I was at a skate park once and this fifteen year old came up to me and said, “Do you skate?” And I said, “Well I used to, but I am here with these kids and I am making a film about them. I’m a filmmaker.” He says, “Oh yeah?” And I said, “I made another film called Kids. Have you ever heard of that?” And he said, “Everybody’s heard of that!”

Rivers speaks about the one and done college basketball player:

I just think for certain people, it’s one of those things where if you’re ready, you’re ready. People can have their opinions, but you really don’t know. People said things about certain players, ‘Oh, they shouldn’t leave.’ And then they end up being really good. People thought Jrue Holiday and certain players like that shouldn’t leave, and they could perform. Some people are ready. Then you do have those sad cases where I think kids get bad advice and leave when they shouldn’t.

Conway talks about valuations:

Right now…a typical startup is in the $3 million-$5 million range

In the next year probably 10-15% of the portfolio will get acquired

On privacy issues:

Consumers are getting used to a more open environment on the internet so the privacy issues are really a moving target…Twitter, Facebook, Google are very sensitive to the privacy issues

WSSP in Milwaukee interview

Williams gives his thought on Marquette advancing to the Sweet 16:

It was awesome. Satisfying is probably a proper adjective. I think the best thing about all of it is that we just get to keep playing. We had practice early this morning like we always do on Mondays. It was great to be back in the gym with our guys. We’ll practice again [Tuesday] before we leave. It’s just another opportunity for us to continue to work and continue to get better and see if we can win one more game.

WFNZ in Charlotte interview

Battier gives his thoughts of the reaction that the Miami Heat get in arenas across the league:

It really doesn’t matter. Obviously it’s nice to be cheered, but our goal is to win an NBA Championship. Whether people like us or not or cheer for us or not, it’s not going to make the ball go through the hoop any easier. … What I will say is people like to watch our team. We have exciting players. And if you like basketball, it’s hard not to like a LeBron James or Dwyane Wade. … The funny part is a lot of people say, ‘I don’t like LeBron or I don’t like Dwyane.’ Well, guess what? People watch because they want to see what they can do.

I’m just here mainly to tell you that Salmon Fishing In The Yemen is not a documentary film about salmon fishing in the Yemen. However, it is a film about salmon fishing in the Yemen, and once you’ve seen it, you’ll wonder what else it could ever have been called.
