Lady Gaga interview

Interview0 Comments

Lady Gaga speaks openly in the home she grew up in as Winfrey questions her about personal life, career and charity.

The latest thing I do is I don’t read a damn thing. No press, no television. If my mom calls and says, ‘Did you hear about?’ I don’t want to know nothing about anything that is going on… I shut it all off.

The Talks interview

Interview0 Comments

Schwartzman gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses watching his mother in films, and what it was like growing up.

When I was born my mom didn’t work as much and she really was just focused on raising us. She is a cinephile and an audiophile but she is not too interested in the whole schmooze and the more business side of things. We were kept away from a lot of the vultures. She was protective in that way; we didn’t really grow up on a film set. I have no memories of being on film sets, I have memories of playing baseball. Also I wouldn’t remember those things because I was much more interested in music and stuff.

Elle Magazine interview

Interview0 Comments

Azaria gives interview to Elle about how dressing in drag for The Birdcage made him feel sympathetic to women.

Honestly, it did. I wore a thong and a bra and a wig. Those things hurt. I mean, thongs? Like, they dig in. It takes a tough man to be a woman.

WFAN in New York interview

Calhoun talks about an upcoming NCAA Tournament game against Iowa State:

They shot 38.9, almost 39% in Big 12 play. They have beaten the likes of Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State twice, so they are a good basketball team. They are going to get on average 25 three’s up a game. They had 36 and made 16 out of 36. We have not played a team that has not gotten even close to that. Our league is not even close and no where near that type of thing. We have had to make some adjustments over the last couple of days, but you and I both know that’s kind of what the tournament is about. Everybody says it’s about brackets. You would like to be #1 or the #2 or something like that quite frankly it is who you play. You got to adjust to that team.

Assad meets Annan

Makes Statement0 Comments

U.N. envoy Annan meets with Assad in Damascus during a mission trying to bring a halt to fighting and arrange talks between the two sides to end the country’s conflict. Assad tells Annan that any political dialogue is doomed to fail

as long as there are armed terrorist groups that work to spread anarchy and destabilize the country,

The regime blames terrorists acting out a foreign conspiracy for the uprising, not protesters seeking change. The opposition rejects dialogue, saying it is impossible to talk to Assad’s regime.

McKillop discusses the advantages of his players staying all four years in college:

The reason the landscape of college athletics is so level right now is because programs at the mid-major level are keeping guys around for four years. That maturity, that experience, you put a team out on the court that has 21-, 22-, 23-year-old men on the court and they’re going against these hot-shot 18-year-olds. Invariably, there’s going to be the mental maturity that three, four, five years extra provides. That’s why Virginia Commonwealth, that’s why Butler, that’s why George Mason, that’s why we’ve done the things we’ve done the last six years.

I own my life. I get to do what I want when I want. I’m still very productive in my life and I’m still as successful in my life doing other stuff as I was in the wrestling business. Years ago when I fought with Vince in the courts about my intellectual properties — the logos, the brand, the intellectual properties of the Ultimate Warrior, everybody thought I was crazy. I mean, that’s provided me a great, wonderful living.
