Dr. Oz interview
Seacrest interviews Dr. OZ during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions him about advise for those who catch the flu.
It’s not affecting as many people, but the people it affects are getting a lot sicker, especially young people. It’s related to the Spanish influenza, which happened in 1918 and killed 20 million people around the globe. It was a bad strain, so a lot of young people are ending up in the hospital with this year’s version of the flu which is a-typical it lingers and it makes you feel real poorly.

I was a history buff when I was a kid, so it’s kind of a dream job because I get to see all the places that I read about growing up. I feel like Ian was invested more when we started writing it. Ian was definitely heartbroken the whole way through [writing it]. I didn’t realize I was heartbroken until we started writing the song, like halfway through. There was this girl in my life and it went on for three years and it was un-reciprocated. I thought it was something else and I was younger and I felt something and it was painful but it made me feel alive and I think a lot of it was, I was afraid to let it go I think about it now and I get the chills because it’s so crazy that’s the one that’s connecting to everybody and we felt so alone and now it’s like a healing song and people are listening to it and it’s helping them.

He had a song called ‘Buffalo Stance’ and when I was a kid it was a big thing, so I was with a friend of mine and she gave me the history when we went to the Vivienne Westwood store and I was like ‘Okay, I need that.’ So I got it and this was about 4 or 5 years ago and at the very last minute I was thinking about what I was going to wear, and I knew I didn’t want to wear what I was going to wear during the performance, in the seat, or to the red carpet so I just threw on my Adidas jacket and the buffalo hat and went for it.

I think the intention the whole time has been to tell Gwen’s story has closely to the comic as possible.

LL Cool J interview
Seacrest interviews LL Cool J during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions him about hosting the Grammy Awards.
At the end of the day, it’s about these performers performing and getting their Grammys and the nominees having a great time. You know, I don’t think I’m Billy Crystal, I don’t think I’m Ellen [Degeneres]. I’m just doing my thing and going to have some fun.
