I did expect to retire from TNA. That’s what I wanted to do. I was very loyal to them. I busted my tail for them for eleven of years. But what I was told is TNA was horribly mismanaged and they couldn’t afford to pay me what I was making. So it was one of those things where I had to make a decision.

I think we can co-exist. I think that competition is very good, I can’t see why WWE or TNA, one or the other, should go away. It’s great for the fans, it’s great for the wrestling business. I think that TNA offers the wrestling world an alternative in a way that they haven’t had in many years.
