Deschanel is sued for injuring a show horse. She rented a show horse for $13,000 and returned it injured and unstable. The owner claims the horse needed a lot of medical attention when it was returned. Patty Parker, the owner of the horse, says there were many restrictions between the horse and Deschanel.

Won’t be charged in molestation claim
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office declines to file charges against Cosby in the alleged child sexual abuse charge made by Judy Huth, due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
Files defamation suit against Cosby
Green files suit against Cosby saying that he defamed her by declaring her claims that she was sexually assaulted by Cosby “absolutely false”. Filing:

Alleges that Cosby drugged and raped her
Masten, a former Playboy bunny, alleges that Cosby drugged and raped her in an interview with CNN. Masten says she met Cosby while working at Playboy’s famous Chicago club in the late 1970’s which led to a dinner where Masten claims Cosby gave her a glass of Grand Marnier.

Arrested for robbery
Knight and Williams are arrested for robbery. The arrest stems from an incident in Beverly Hills on September 5, where Knight and Williams allegedly chased a woman down an alley and stole her camera. Lt. Lincoln Hoshino of Beverly Hills Police:

WWE wins court battle over the domain name, WWE.org which was claimed to be initials for Western Women Entrepreneurs. The owner of the domain attempted to sell the site name to the trademark holder (WWE) shortly after obtaining the name, launching the legal battle.
Arrested for DUI
Bynes is arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs in Sherman Oaks, CA. A California Highway Patrol officer sees Bynes run a red light then stop in the middle of an intersection. California Highway Patrol spokesman Leland Tang:
She ran a red light and stopped in the middle of (a) T-shaped intersection. Our officer observed her, and she appeared under the influence. She was unable to complete field sobriety tests, at which point she was taken to our station.
Arrested for domestic assault
Taylor, Charlotte Hornets forward, is arrested on domestic assault charges at the Marriott at University Place in East Lansing, Michigan. Taylor is charged with one count of domestic assault, one count of assault and one count of malicious destruction of property. Taylor is released on 5,00 bond. East Lansing Police Department declines to release more details on the incident. Hornet’s statement:

Ambassador arrested
The Vatican says that former Holy See ambassador Józef Wesołowski has been placed under house arrest and will face a criminal trial over child sex charges. The action against 66-year-old Wesołowski is the first time the Vatican has charged a high-ranking official with paedophilia. He faces up to 12 years in prison.
Found innocent
Henning’s wife says an ISIS court has found him innocent. Barbara:

Lead plaintiff filing ends
Eligibility to file as lead plaintiffs in WWE class action lawsuit ends. The suit filed against the company over security violations stems from promises made to shareholders before the company’s television renewal deal with NBC Universal. Attorney Robbins Arroyo comments.

Wins access to ‘spy tapes’
Zille wins a five-year legal battle to obtain the so called “spy tapes”. The phone-taps are the basis of a 2009 decision by prosecutors to drop the charges against Zuma, saying there was political involvement in decision to press charges, just before the election in which he became President. Zille, who asked for the tapes so that the decision can be re-assessed, walks out of the High Court in Pretoria with a “tamper evident security bag” containing transcripts of recordings and a memory stick. 14-year-old ‘jihadi’ girl arrested
French authorities arrest a 14-year-old girl in the western city of Quimper on suspicion that she is planning to conduct jihad in Syria. She is moved to Paris to be questioned by an anti-terror judge on possible connections to the disappearance of another 14-year-old girl from the Paris area in June, as part of an enquiry that has also led to the arrests of a 15-year-old and 17-year old girl a week earlier.
