I have used phrases, words, comments with horrifically despicable undertones and you can’t just pass that off as comedy. I accept any criticism that comes my way..If I don’t own the shame of these phrases and words, I would be disingenuous to everybody who has ever supported me. That man deserved to enjoy his time in the pub without having it end the way it did…I will face this head on. I will not hide from it. I was in the wrong. It was completely unacceptable behaviour for a man in my position…I owe it to the people who trained me in martial arts – and it is not the reason I got into martial arts …was to defend against that kind of scenario. I have been making steps to do better and be better to see it is like a dagger into my heart as a martial artist.
Apologises for running out of whiskey
McGregor apologises for running out of his Proper No.Twelve whiskey. The company say they have “sold more cases in less than one month than many whiskey brands sell in a full year”, claiming hundreds of thousands of bottles sold. McGregor says he is sorry for the worldwide shortage and is personally making sure the company is ramping up production.
I don’t usually see reason to apologise but in this case I want to take this chance to apologise to absolutely everyone for our out-of-stock situation. My apologies to DC and to everyone else upset at me for interviewing him after the fight. In all honesty, I was kind of in shock and I don’t think I realised what I was doing until I had a mic in my hand and I was talking to him. I’ve said that I don’t want to interview fighters after they’ve been KO’d and then I did it to someone that I care a great deal about. It was 100% my f**k up and no one pressured me to do it. South African H&M issues an apology after the backlash from a series of tweets implying that white models have a more positive image. The chain clarifies they did not intend to offend anyone.
In no way does H&M state that positivity is linked to an ethnic group. H&M is proudly a global brand that embraces all people who are inspired by fashion, regardless of ethnic background, gender or culture. We wish to [apologize] if our message has caused [offense] in any way as this was not the intention.
Apologizes for ad campaign
Airbnb apologizes for a series of outdoor ads that criticize San Francisco’s hotel taxes. The company is currently spending $8 million to fight Proposition F, which seeks to restrict unregistered short-term rentals. The company argues that the city won’t be able to collect as many tax dollars from its services if the ballot is pushed through.
The intent was to show the hotel tax contribution from our hosts and guests, which is roughly $1 million per month. It was the wrong tone and we apologize to anyone who was offended. These ads are being taken down immediately.
