Songz gives an interview about his debut acting role in new movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D. A woman and the of her friends travel to inspect an inherited property, only to find a nightmare. The film also stares Alexandra DaddarioTania Raymonde and Scott Eastwood.

I think it means something not only to me, but to the franchise. Ryan was originally envisioned as a white male. The fact that the studio, the producers and the director went out on a limb and put a black man in such a strong part in a classic movie first made in the 70s, when things were so different, speaks volumes too.

Chris Kluwe interview

Kluwe guests on Conan and talks about his controversial letter to Maryland state assembly delegate Emmett Burns regarding same-sex marriage and gay rights. He also reveals that he is an avid world of Warcraft and table top miniatures player and that NFL players can be smart, too.

That’s the thing is that a lot of people have this assumption of NFL players as knuckle dragging troglodytes because you only hear about bad players. Those are the guys that make the news. There are a lot of smart players in the locker room. But you don’t hear about them because they take care of business and they go home. Who wants to report on that?

McAfee is interviewed by Cavuto on Fox News declaring his support for Edward Snowden and drawing comparisons to his own time on the run.

From my perspective he revealed something that we all knew. We are being spied on by our government. It’s simply that Mr Snowden has put a quantitative value on it…To that extent he’s a hero in telling us what we already knew and making us all face that fact.

The Talks interview

Lacombe gives an interview to The Talks. She discusses what influences her portraits and when she knows she has taken a good portrait.

Yes. Mostly you know when you have caught the moment. Sometimes I feel like I did not do well enough. It then becomes really hard to live with yourself, because you feel you could have done better. But often, as you live with the images, you realize that there is a moment in them and you overlooked it because of some tension or agitation you had with yourself at the time. But mostly you recognize it when it’s there.

In part seven of this interview, Nimoy discusses “Vulcanisms”: the mind meld, the Vulcan nerve pinch, the Vulcan salute; his favorite and least favorite Star Trek episodes. He also talks about the legacy of Star Trek and about becoming a director; on feeling typecast as a heavy while at Universal in the early 1970s. On the Vulcan nerve pinch:

That was my way of avoiding fistfights. I had gotten very tired of all the years of playing heavies and being involved in fistfights or gunfights, or whatever kind of fights, with adversaries in television shows and movies. Here was a chance to cleverly avoid all of that…I suggested to the director that I had this special ability of putting some energy into the human anatomy that would render the guy unconscious.

Young is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss TNA, improvisation and learning to wrestle.

I learned super quick. I did backyard wrestling when I was a kid. We didn’t wrestle in the grass. We built a ring out of an old trampoline and my dad had a friend who was a welder so we had poles and ropes and a full six sided ring so I could already kind of do a lot of the moves.

Wood discusses starring in the remake of the movie Maniac:

It’s a primarily POV film about a man who has a compulsion to stalk and murder women. You experience what this man’s world is and get a feel for his life – he discovers this young girl who it seems he has a real yearning for romantic love with that probably can’t sustain within the context of the world he set up for himself.

L.A. Times interview

Lesnar talks about realism in the ring for WWE:

That’s what you get when you step in the ring with me. I’m always taking it to the next level. I don’t want to ever intentionally hurt someone, because it is pure entertainment. You want to portray things so they look real. We’re selling tickets and things to people, we’re selling entertainment. The guys that have got in the ring with me … they have to step up their game because of the intensity. I don’t have a governor switch … it’s wide open and you better hold on.
