Cole talks about his early commentating in WWE:

My career was made at the beginning thanks to Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chyna and Rick Rude, if it wasn’t for D-Generation X who knows if I would’ve ever been discovered to become the personality that I am today, with those guys we had so much fun together and I become their foil.

Sad about Deen racist comments

Oprah gives and interview to Entertainment Tonight and is questioned about the racist comments friend Paula Deen recently made. Oprah also tells a story of recent racism that she experienced.

In the very first days I tried to reach her and then I decided to stay out of it as I saw it blowing up. In time she will be fine. For me, it all just felt kind of sad. Nobody in their right mind is going to call me the N-word. You know, you see those fools on Twitter sometime say ridiculous things. But nobody in their right mind is going to do that to my face, because true racism is being able to have power over somebody else. So that doesn’t happen to me that way.

Steve Austin Show interview

Stratus is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss her WWE career, retirement and her childhood.

I would classify myself as a bit of a nerd. I was kind of a science geek. I liked to explore. I was the kind of kid who asked for a microscope for my birthday. But I was also into sports.

Shape Magazine interview

Combs tells Shape Magazine about her workout schedule.

At this point in life I have realized that the next forty years need to be about maintaining my muscles, joints, and posture. I don’t push my body through workouts as I’ve done in last 39 years like to ‘ask’ my body to do things now instead of ‘telling’ or forcing my body to do something now.

Comcast interview

Orton talks to Comcast about his future in WWE and the diva’s division.

I wouldn’t say I’m WWE for life, I’d say my near future will consist of me primarily being in the ring,” Orton said. “Wrestling is my first love. The movie was fun, but the schedule was grueling because I had to fly off on my off days to film. Eight weeks went by and I had three days off. If I do the movie thing, I’ll be sure that I’m only doing the movie so I can concentrate on it. (Laughs) I think I’d be more sane that way.

The Temple News interview

Bryan talks to The Temple  News about his recent success in WWE and Nigel McGuiness.

When I go to Target and see my own action figure, it makes me feel stupid because I’m not doing anything different than I was before. It’s just that I’m on TV … I’ve wrestled in front of less people than this in a room smaller than this and when I walked out, instead of people chanting ‘yes,’ they just stared at me in apathy,

Ray talks about his singles career in TNA:

In the tag team world I was used to being in extremely high profile matches all over the world. So to become a high profile singles star I’m already used to the pressure and I’m able to channel that pressure into my performances. The only difference is now it’s all on me; it’s all on my shoulders from a total performance point of view. In a tag team match if you need a break or a breather you can always look to your partner and tag out but as a singles wrestler you can’t do that.

WeWantInsanity interview

Ventura talks to WeWantInsanity.com about politics, Linda McMahon and running for president.

When I ran for governor, I only raised $300,000. And that’s a statewide race, like the senate. I only raised $300,000. I made more money doing the job. The job of governor paid $120,000 a year. So I made $480,000 for the four years and I only spent $300,000 to get the job. If I would have had that money, I’d be the President. You give me that much money to spend on an election and I’ll be President.

Steve Austin Show interview

Angle is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss WWE, TNA and who he watched when he started wrestling.

The thing I did when I started was that I watched the top guys. I watched you. I watched Triple H. I watched The Rock. I watched Undertaker. I watched whether it had to do with promos or it had to do with wrestling…with you it was both because people don’t know this, you’re so underrated as a wrestler because your character was so damn strong that people don’t know how good you were.

Tavis Smiley interview

Whedon discusses his new film, Much Ado About Nothing, and his upcoming ABC series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., in this interview for PBS.

But I love the poetry of the thing, but then ultimately, the more I studied it, the more I go, “Oh, this is about me.” Which is the case of all great literature. But it really just, it strikes themes that obviously it’s 400 years since he wrote it and they still completely resonate, and the jokes still work.

Miami Herald interview

Miz talks to The Miami Herald about Cesaro, Bray Wyatt and NXT stars.

I love having new talent come up. It’s great, and I think WWE is doing a great job bringing in new characters and new entertainment to the WWE Universe out there and new characters for me to play with out there.

VOC Nation interview

Sting talks to VOC Nation about jumping to WWE and The Undertaker.

I do an annual contract every year and the rumors start right around January. The year that they did the (black and white) vignettes (in 2011), I had nothing to do with it and I had no conversations with the WWE at that time. Shortly afterward there were conversations (with WWE) just by happenstance but nothing official.

Steen returns to The Art of Wrestling to discuss business in wrestling and being a zoo enthusiast.

I’m always worried I’m going to miss something. We were watching a wombat eat some corn and we missed an alligator jumping out of the water. I have to go and I have to stay there for a ridiculous amount of time.
