Ukraine: Russian officer shot plane down

Vitaly Nayda, Ukraine’s director of informational security, tells CNN it was a “Russian-trained, well-equipped, well-educated officer” who “pushed that button deliberately.” He also says Ukrainian intelligence supports his assertion. He refers to audio recordings captured by Ukrainian intelligence:

We taped conversations between a Russian officer and his office in Moscow. We know for sure that several minutes before the missile was launched, there was a report to a Russian officer that the plane was coming…They knew the plane was coming with constant speed, in constant direction…and should have known it was not a fighter jet but a big civilian plane

Moscow denies these claims and is suggesting a Ukrainian jet fighter may have shot the plane down.

CBS Baltimore interview

Natalya speaks to CBS Baltimore about WWE, Sting and Total Divas.

I think it’s cool. When we saw the debut of the new video game, that Sting is part of (WWE 2K15), it was awesome. It was like, ‘oh my gosh.’ Nobody ever thought you’d see Sting in WWE and now you see him. I can say this from experience, especially growing up around WWE my entire life, I’m one of those people that think Sting could possibly have another match in WWE.

The big thing that getting healthy has given me back is the ability to dream and hope again. That had all died. Nobody knows the pain and suffering that goes into the addict’s way of life. People think, “They’re still getting screwed up they must be happy!” No… that’s not the way it works.

They helped out. I’m not at liberty to tell you how, but I can tell you they definitely helped out. We were about 75 percent done shooting the movie before Paul passed away, so there were just some things we needed to do in order to finish the movie, and we made it happen.

She has already written two crime novels under her pseudonym Robert Galbraith, and is half-way through writing the third. The novels follow Cormoran Strike, a private detective and former military investigator in the Special Investigation Branch.

I love crime fiction. I’ve always loved it. I read a lot of it and I think, in many ways, that the Harry Potter books are whodunnits in disguise.

A lot of people would have been intimidated being in the ring with him, but not me. I showed him that there are fighters outside of Japan who can hit just has hard or even harder. I have a Herculean appearance, while he has a very understated appearance, but don’t be fooled by his appearance. He’s a very skilled grappler.

Between the Ropes interview

Ross talks to Between the Ropes about the possibility of seeing him in TNA and CM Punk.

It’s not likely at all. I’m not looking at that direction but I don’t think it’s very smart to say I’ll never do that. It would take an extraordinary deal because I don’t know why I would be excited about replacing one of two guys that I like. You don’t get that many friends in the wrestling business that stick with you through thick and thin.

The Talks interview

Ozon gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses what fascinates him about women, his characters reflecting his personality, and why he decided not to go to Hollywood.

To do what? To become like the German directors who go to Hollywood now? They aren’t German anymore. I’m still French. I liked Hollywood in the ’40s and ’50s, but now I’m not sure I would find my place and I’m not sure if I would be able to work under their conditions. In France you are very free as a director, you have the final cut. In America, the important person is not the director, but the producer. In France even if you are not established, a young director is respected.
