Dreamer is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss Dusty Rhodes, ECW and violence.

It was always my dream to be a wrestler. Dusty Rhodes was always my favorite. I was also a big Muda and Sting mark. I wanted to paint my face and when the time was right, blow acid in a man’s face as my finisher. I was gonna call myself Tommy Acid.

Van Dam talks to WWE.com about his return to the ring in Philadelphia and who all knew about his negotiations with the company.

Philadelphia’s awesome. It’s one of my top home away from homes. When I walk around on the streets there, people recognize me. They think I’m from Philadelphia, because I was there so much and because I’m so associated with Philadelphia through ECW. That was Paul’s genius. It wasn’t just a hardcore, extreme, rebellious, renegade wrestling company. It had the flavor and the pride of South Philly, which was very proud of ECW and me and my accomplishments. Because of that, people will always associate me with Philly.

Williams interviews Leah Remini and questions her about new reality TV show Leah Remini: Its all relative, friendship with Jennifer Lopez and being on Dancing With The Stars.

Well that’s the thing. Jen is a girls, girl. You know and I think people are fascinated by our friendship but like to me it is just a normal friendship. A lot of time I forget how big she is and what she has accomplished. Never do I call her J-Lo.

Ross Report interview

Angle is a guest on The Ross Report to discuss his recent surgery and wrestling Brock Lesnar.

The match was tight. There’s no doubt about it. There was only one takedown. I took Brock down, and that was it. That’s when I put the fingers up, said two, and it’s over. But we went a good 12 to 15 minutes. It was a good battle; Brock did outweigh me by about 70 pounds at the time. He was a big boy, but I knew that. It was a tight match. Did I beat him? Yeah, I edged him.

Bridges discusses his career and his current shows, CBS sitcom The Millers and Showtime drama Masters of Sex, in this interview for PBS.

Well, you know, one of the wonderful things about show business is the unpredictability of it all. I mean, I had no idea and these two great opportunities came, The Millers by my friend, Greg Garcia, who is the show runner and he did My Name is Earl. I played Earl’s dad on that, so I know Greg. He’s one of the best show runners going. And then Masters of Sex is, you know, the total opposite of that, a full-on drama.

Talk is Jericho interview

Christian appears on Talk is Jericho to discuss Edge, tag teams, his time in TNA and how talent acquiring has changed in WWE.

The way that the talent is brought in now has changed quite a bit with the talent center down in Orlando. That’s probably the biggest difference where-as when we came it ya just had to cut your teeth.

Seacrest interviews Sheeran during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions him on what it was like to work with Hilary Duff.

The only time I was available was 1 a.m. and she was a trooper. She came in, she vocaled it, and yeah, I’m very, very happy with the results. And I hope she is too!

Doctor Who inspiration

mickey-fischer-extantSpielberg’s Co-Producer on Extant, Mickey Fisher, tells The Daily Telegraph in an interview that the classic British Science fiction series Doctor Who was a big inspiration for him while he was writing the Extant pilot.

Because I’m a big Doctor Who fan, I had a Post-it note on the corner of my monitor that said, ‘WWSMD; what would Steven Moffat do?’ [Doctor Who] has such a great heart at the centre of it, and I think that was really important to me. It’s not a dystopian world. We want [Extant] to be something that people could relate to, this story about this family that people would appreciate.

Short reacts to being let go from Scandal:

They did not throw me to the curb like trash — that’s my family. They knew that I was going through a tough season and rallied around me and wrapped their arms around me, from Shonda to the craft service man. We’re a family.

Hoover talks about how venture capitalists use Product Hunt:

VCs have two different hats, the investor hat and the consumer hat, they use the site they like to find new things [and there are] very many cases where VCs have invested in products that I know of that they found on Product Hunt.

That includes SV Angel’s investment in the TapTalk photo app, Steadfast Venture Capital’s investment in the Fitbay fitness social network, and Move Loot, which has got funding from Google Ventures.

I didn’t build Product Hunt for VCs, I didn’t build a product to serve investors, but it is serving them…ultimately I’m building a product for myself and for consumers.

T Magazine interview

Charli gives an interview for New York Times T Magazine and talks about being compared to a young Madonna:

Madonna was someone who didn’t get put in a box. She changed and evolved. The second someone tries to put me in a box, I will do everything to rebel against that. One thing I don’t understand is how people want you to replicate your past successes. Being an artist should be about freedom and not just becoming one thing, because I think that’s terrible and boring.

Biggs discusses his role in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black in this interview for PBS.

You know, before anyone has watched this show, I think it’s safe to say for the most part there’s a stigma associated with prisoners, you know. So it’s hard to, you know, relate, certainly. So what I think has been so incredibly captivating, certainly for me, you know, I’ve watched those prison scenes and I watch these characters. And part of it is the diversity of the cast as well and these amazingly beautiful, diverse women characters that we have in there.

Brighthouse Sports interview

Austin sits down with Brighthouse Sports to discuss his thoughts on WWE scripting promos.

I disagree with (scripting). I think the nature of a promo has to come from your heart and your guts and you have to mean everything that you’re saying. Now is the perfect time to go back to that formula.

WNS interview

Simmons discusses rumors of racism in WWE and his early professional wrestling career with WNS.

All the years I’ve worked with WWE, that opportunity is there for any man or woman for that matter. If you’re willing to work and put in the dedication that it requires you will get that shot. That I have no problem with. I’ve worked with Vince (McMahon) for quite a while. I know him, I know all of his family members.

AMH Network interview

Jericho talks to the AMH Network about his use of social media to reach out to fans.

It’s just the best way of promotion, Twitter and Facebook. I remember having a website back in 1997 when no one did because I got it right away how important it is to communicate with people around the world. Also to get the instant feedback, when you do something you can vibe it right away. Did people like it? Did they not like it? This is now the new wave of promoting whatever you’re doing and all of your projects.
