I just got a call from my agent that the UFC was looking for an “Octagon Girl.” Basically, they wanted a hot athletic girl and had a cattle call for models, like most auditions. But Dana White himself was there. They asked a few questions and had me throw on the outfit. That was it.

Every week I take the competitions extremely seriously. I don’t think all of the other NXT Rookies necessarily do. I think they are very important as far as getting extra exposure. You never know what you’re going to get out of them. Even though they don’t always deal with in-ring skills, I think it’s important to show the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros that you take this stuff seriously. And no matter what it is, I’m out there to win.

I don’t know. Basically, first, the product there is amazing. We’re in Southern California. We have the best produce in the world. We buy a certain level of meat product. We use Diamond Ranch, a conglomerate of family-run farms, and a lot of the reason we buy from them is supply and demand. When you’re using twenty pounds of pig ears every other day, that’s a lot of pigs. You figure six ears per pound. That’s three pigs.

The history of Butler and the tradition of Butler and everything like that are certainly easy things to sell, but it’s the people that separate it. I’ve got great people that I work for. We have great players in our locker room that, to be quite honest, I just like being around. I’ve sat quite a bit in many of those meetings with recruits and said, Hey, you make a decision based on fluff now, but at the end of your life, it’s about people you are around. It’s not an alternative. I did not want to go into overtime. If we hit the free throw and they somehow hit a three, then we’re okay, we don’t lose. I wasn’t thinking for this game in that way.
