Kyle Massey interview
Seacrest interviews Massey during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about competing on Dancing With The Stars.
I fell a little short the last time I competed. I came in 2nd place, but this time I’m going all the way. I’m taking that trophy home with me and I’m sleeping with it in bed. Kyle would probably end up being the first winner to spoon with the mirror ball trophy.
Nick Lachey interview
Seacrest interviews Lachey during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks him why he wont name his son Nick JR.
It is not Nick. I wouldn’t want to do that. I just feel like he has his own identity and is not in any way involved in mine. So, it’s good for him to have his own name.
Hope Springs interview
Seacrest interviews Springs during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about what she thinks of the TV show The Office.
The first time I saw The Office I thought who is this? He’s absolutely wonderful.
Ryan Lochte interview
Seacrest interviews Lochte during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about competing in the Olympics.
I am relieved. These past fours years have been really, really hard and you know what? It’s over for me, so I’m definitely excited and happy that I get to finally take a deep breath. Michael Phelps is one of the hardest competitors I have ever had to go up against and you know what? He’s a good friend. Win or lose we’re still going to be friends and we both want to win and sometimes you do and sometimes you don’t. Our rivalry that we’ve created has gotten so big, especially in the last couple years, and we push each other because we both want to do incredible things for this sport. He knows that I’m training really hard back home and I know that he’s training, so that’s what pushes us everyday when we go to practice.
Kate Beckinsale interview
Seacrest interviews Beckinsale during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about doing love scenes with other men in front of her husband.
I’ve actually done worse things in front of my husband in other movies, so this sort of thing really, you don’t make a big deal, but I think it can seem worse to the third party apparently. I think when you’re doing jobs that you’re very passionate about, it’s not like you’re coming home and discussing spreadsheets and the other one’s not interested. Do you know what I mean? It’s like we’re both very interested in the movie and in movies in general. And I’m glad I’ve got him back. Now he’s finished editing the movie and it’s nice to talk about other things too.
Josh Hutcherson interview
Seacrest interviews Hutcherson during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and ask him if he is attending Miley Cyrus’s wedding.
I’m definitely going to go. I’m for sure gonna go. Liam’s my boy! I’m definitely going to be there to support him. I haven’t been invited, so I have to get the invite first to know if I’m going. I’ve got to make sure I’m invited. I say I’m going, but I don’t know, maybe Liam has other plans for that.
Colin Farrell interview
Seacrest interviews Farrell during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks his opinion of co-star Kate Beckinsale.
Kate Beckinsale is very sweet. You do what the script tells you, she basically beat me upside the head. The trickiest part was kissing her actually. Because she’s, of course married to the director of the film (Len Wiseman), so that was slightly uncomfortable. It was fairly harmless, it was fairly innocent. It was just kind of a morning peck. Well, a little bit more than a morning peck, enough to make me a little bit uncomfortable, but the director moved through it fairly fast.
Bruce Jenner interview
Seacrest interviews Jenner during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks his opinion of Michael Phelps.
It kind of ticks me off a little bit. I had to go in 10 events to get one lousy medal and he gets a medal in every event. It just doesn’t seem fair, cause honestly I have people all the time come up to me, “Now how many medals did you win?” And I go, “Uh, well, just one. But it’s a good one, I had to do a lot to get it.” But no, I’m extraordinarily proud of him. He’s again a great representative of our country and he has worked so hard.
Piers Morgan interview
Seacrest interviews Morgan during On Air With Ryan Seacret and asks him about athlete’s Twitter usage.
I think they have to be media trained I’m all in favor of them being on Twitter. I think it adds to the excitement, the fans can live the experience in real time. I think Twitter, Facebook and all social media have raised not only that concern, but obviously this ongoing debate of whether NBC should be using tape to delay the events.
Matt Grevers interview
Seacrest interviews Grevers during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks him about his proposal to Annie Chandler.
I mean a couple of those deep breaths I had were not from the race, they definitely were nerves from what I was about to do and it was nice that I could hide some of my emotions for the proposal behind my race and I guess in that I planned it well. My mom put it in my warm-up pocket, so I walked out of the ready room and I didn’t want the ring in my pocket because there would have been a noticeable box-like bulge in my pocket, so they put it in after I got in the water, so she just snuck it in there and Annie was none the wiser.
Melissa Rycroft interview
Seacrest interviews Rycroft during On Air with Ryan Seacrest about being on Dancing With The Stars again with people who have won against her last time.
I’m still trying to figure that out myself. When I saw the rest of the cast and I saw that two of them have already beat me in this competition, I’m kind of wondering what I’ve done to myself, but if anything it’s going to be a great time. There are some phenomenal dancers, there’s big personalities and big names, but what do you expect from an all-star season? They want to bring back the best of the best.
Adam Shankman interview
Seacret interviews Shankman during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his film Step Up Revolution and its star Ryan Guzman.
Channing Tatum was the first star of the first Step Up and now we have Ryan Guzman, who I think is the next Channing, actually, he’s fantastic. He (Guzman) has honesty, he’s hilarious, ab-taculous…he’s really good.
Snooki interview
Seacrest interviews Snooki during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks her about the next season of Jersey Shore.
We never really know if we are going to have another one. We always treat it like our last. And this was definitely an emotional one because I’m having a child and like getting married so it was definitely emotional saying goodbye, but if we do another one I’m definitely going to be a part of it, it’s just going to be different.
Jonah Hill interview
Seacrest interviews Hill during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and about his role in the film 21 Jump Street’ Sequel.
Yeah I wrote that with my buddy Mike Bacall and I produced it with Channing. I mean I was the originator of the project. It was a TV show obviously and then they asked if I wanted to adapt it into a film and I was the one who was originally was adapting it into a film. It took me five years from where I started writing to when it came out. Exactly. So that’s why I was so excited that people dig it, you know? Cause it’s like, I never know if it was ever going to actually be a movie, let alone come out and have people really like it.
Emily Maynard interview
Seacrest interviews Maynard during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks her about her wedding plans.
We don’t have like a specific date set yet. We were just now able to tell our family and friends that we were engaged, you know? He’s going to move to Charlotte and then we’re just gonna take it day by day. Hopefully in the spring sometime. People keep asking us that and I keep saying the same thing like, we don’t even know what we’re going to eat for lunch tomorrow and I certainly never thought I was going to be ‘The Bachelorette‘ so I’ve learned to never say never, but it’s like something that we’ll have to talk about when the time comes, as a family.
Blake Lively interview
Seacrest interviews Lively during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her style.
There’s a lot of pressure to constantly find the best designer outfits. As a teenager, my mom was constantly after me to dress better. She encouraged me to dress up and discover my own style. I love fashion and shopping though, just like any girl.
Backstreet Boys interview
Seacrest interviews Backstreet Boys during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and question them about being back together.
It’s been amazing. You know, it’s kind of funny, after that first week in the studio it was really like nothing had ever stopped. It’s kind of like nothing ever changed and it’s just been an absolute blessing to have Kev back. It’s just been awesome. So now, no pun intended, Backstreet is back.
Chris Harrison interview
Seacrest interviews Harrison during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks about The Bachelorette finale.
Um, you know, it was pretty split down the middle. I mean honestly there was a lot of Arie fans in the mix as well. Can I also give you a little interesting tidbit about J-E-F? It’s not Jef with one F. It’s Jeff with two Fs. Jef’s mom was there last night and she said, ‘It’s not Jef with one F, his name is Jeffrey! And I thought for a second, my heart dropped, I thought we’ve screwed this up and we’ve been doing it wrong the entire season.
Tom Parker interview
Seacrest interviews Parker during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks him about his bands album Word Of Mouth.
Obviously we’ve got our new single off the album which is ‘Chasing The Sun,’ which is just building out in America at the moment, and then we’ve got another single off of that which is probably coming to you about September, which we personally think is as big as ‘Glad You Came‘ if not bigger. It’s almost finished and we’re just talking about collabs and stuff. We’re trying to get Chris Brown on a single and possibly Justin as well.
Charlie Sheen interview
Seacrest interviews Sheen during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks him about charity work.
They are building a TBI recovery center in Bethesda, Maryland. They offered me naming rights on one of the buildings and that they asked me to do this, I was so honored. It’s one of those things that you’re proud to tell your kids about.
