Blanchard gives his thoughts on being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame:

The word that comes to mind is unbelievable. WrestleMania now is so different compared to the WrestleMania that I wrestled on, WrestleMania V when Arn and I wrestled Rick Martel and Tito Santana. The size of the event from the fan axxess for three days, the Hall of Fame induction and then WrestleMania itself at the football stadium in Miami, it is an event now rather than just a wrestling show.

Kanellis discusses debuting in the WWE:

Oh, my gosh. It was a mix of everything. I was 22-years-old, I never experienced anything like that in my entire life. The first time I was on live television, was the first time I’d ever been in front of a live crowd that size. Just getting over that in itself was insane. I didn’t come from the independents, so wrestling was all new to me. I was training down in Ohio Valley Wrestling at the same time I was on the road. I was training with Fit Finley.

It wasn’t until 2003 when Vince called me and asked if I would be interested in coming into WWE and I thought it was a great opportunity and thought it would be a lot of fun and it was. It was a very fulfilling opportunity I had to work with Vince McMahon and everybody at the WWE, they are a very classy organisation.

TNA Hall of Fame

Announcement0 Comments

Sting is announced as an inaugural inductee to TNA Hall of Fame. Video chronicling Sting’s TNA career is shown.

Last year when I was inducted I had no idea that it was going to be me. I was an active wrestler. (I wondered why) they didn’t go with the Jeff Jarretts of the world. If they’re going to use an active guy, why not AJ? He’s been with the company since the beginning. I took it as an indication that they thought I was done. But it was a night that I will never forget, and it was awesome.

Dillon discusses being selected for the WWE Hall of Fame:

It was a great honour, the arena in Miami was sold out and to be up on the stage and looking down in front of you are the McMahon family, John Cena, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and Pat Patterson behind them are other legends, the Roddy Piper’s of the world, Harley Race and Dory Funk Jr, then our families are all there as well. You then look up and can see and hear a sea of people, 15,000 plus giving us a standing ovation, I’ve had some goosebumps moments throughout my career but I don’t think anything will ever top the Hall of Fame.
