Jodie’s cool. I like Jodie. I like her a lot, and obviously, she’s a great actress. So, I was excited about the opportunity to work with her.

Though the oppressive British government thinks of V as a terrorist, the revolution V has planned is devoted to the people. The actress shaves her head for her role while director James McTeigue uses three cameras to capture the haircut in one take.
James the director gave me the graphic novel when he offered me the role so I read it immediately. It was such a great resource to have. It’s almost like a storyboard for the movie.

Tripplehorn plays Barb Henrickson, first and only legal wife, in this HBO drama from creators Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer. It was always a party… always. He (Matthew) made, like, a dinner for us, he had us all for dinner one night, it was really, really nice. And he’s such a good storyteller, he was like, making a salad and telling stories.

Running Scared
Walker stars in Running Scared as Joey Gazelle, a low-level mafioso for the Mafia member Tommy Perello. When a drug deal goes wrong, Joey is given the gun that killed several crooked cops and told to dispose of it.
I was going home with this character every day. A girlfriend of mine came out to spend two weeks with me. She left four days into it. I was all like, ‘What?’ And she goes, ‘I see you on set, you come home. You can’t relax. You’re all twitchy and jacked up on adrenaline.’ There’s no other way to do it.
Eight Below
Walker plays as Jerry Shepard in Disney’s Eight Below. The film is an adventure drama set in Antarctica, where brutal cold forces two explorers to leave their team of sled dogs behind as they fend for survival. Shepard vows to return to rescue them.
I spent almost a month, eight to ten hours a day, just working with the dogs, prior to jumping on the principal photography bandwagon…you have to earn their respect, much like you would with riding a horse. It was important that I had a relationship with each and every one of those dogs.
Veronica Mars
Cavallari guest stars on Veronica Mars. Cavallari plays a closeted lesbian cheerleader that asks character Veronica for help when she is threatened to be outed.
When they told me they wanted me to play a lesbian I thought it would be great. It’s such a perfect role for my first real acting job because it’s just so obviously different from what I am and that’s exactly why I wanted to do it.

Capote
Keener plays Harper Lee in this biographical crime drama directed by Bennett Miller. In 1959, Capote learns of the murder of a Kansas family and decides the case will be the basis for his next, and what turns out to be last, book. He goes to Kansas to research In Cold Blood, and forms a relationship with Perry Smith, one of the killers, now on death row.
She’s a very private person, and you know, I did as much as I could in terms of reading anything I could find on her, including re-reading her book and watching the film again. I did find some essays that she wrote for I believe like McCall’s and some other magazines, ladies’ magazines which illuminated some things, for me anyway, in terms of what things she cared about in her life.
Capote
Hoffman plays Truman Capote in this biographical crime drama directed by Bennett Miller. In 1959, Capote learns of the murder of a Kansas family and decides the case will be the basis for his next, and what turns out to be last, book. He goes to Kansas to research In Cold Blood, and forms a relationship with Perry Smith, one of the killers, now on death row.
We knew that the story wasn’t going to shine him in the best of lights. But it’s a tragedy and there wouldn’t be tragedy if you didn’t see the self-awareness happen, which is not a pleasant one. That happens to him and it begins this downfall, so that’s the story. That’s the story, it wasn’t like a judgment that we made, that’s the story. This guy died at age 59 alone, of alcoholism, without writing another book. That’s the story.

Picking up where the first film left off, Selene and Michael Corvin, played by actor Scott Speedman, are on the run from the rest of the vampire clan. Unlocking the truth about their respective bloodlines will get them closer to stopping a much larger evil from destroying mankind.
We had such a great experience on the first one. I think we all wanted an opportunity to go and expand on that.

The franchise rocks, and the sequel’s gonna be fun.
The Family Stone
Nelson plays Kelly Stone, the patriarch of the Stone family, in this dramedy directed by Thomas Bezucha. Co-starring Diane Keaton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel McAdams, Craig T. Nelson, Luke Wilson and Claire Danes.
Kelly’s an interesting guy in that he’s allowed the matriarch of this house, although he’s married to this very intelligent and wonderfully witty woman, to run the household up to a certain point. And then he kind of comes in when he needs to.
The Family Stone
Wilson plays Ben Stone in this dramedy directed by Thomas Bezucha. When the favorite son brings his uptight, corporate girlfriend home for the holidays, the Stones disapprove and conspire to make her feel unwelcome amid their free-spirited ways. Co-starring Diane Keaton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel McAdams, Craig T. Nelson and Claire Danes.
For me, it was just one of those things where it was my character on the page—and then also the other characters. Where it seemed like it would be fun to be around those people. And I don’t know that there’s anything I don’t like about Ben, except that maybe he does seem kind of aimless.
The Family Stone
Mulroney plays Everett Stone, the favorite son, in this dramedy directed by Thomas Bezucha. When Everett brings his uptight, corporate girlfriend home for the holidays, the Stones disapprove and conspire to make her feel unwelcome amid their free-spirited ways. Co-starring Diane Keaton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel McAdams, Craig T. Nelson, Luke Wilson and Claire Danes.
I was thrilled to work with Luke, then I’d heard he’d got into the movie and I was afraid he was going to bail—you know—for some higher-priced part and drop out at the last minute.
The Family Stone
Parker plays Meredith Morton, the invading girlfriend, in this dramedy directed by Thomas Bezucha. When the favorite son brings his uptight, corporate girlfriend home for the holidays, the Stones disapprove and conspire to make her feel unwelcome amid their free-spirited ways. Co-starring Diane Keaton, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel McAdams, Craig T. Nelson, Luke Wilson and Claire Danes.
I’ve never met anybody like Meredith, but it was also the fact that she was also this beautiful—I love the way that she was written, but larger piece was equally important. It’s fine to have a great part, but not so fine to have a great part in a mediocre script. This was a double whammy in a great way.
