Kruger guests on Conan to promote The Bridge. She also chats about her not-so-romantic first date with boyfriend Joshua Jackson, her dislike of guns, and her fondness for reality show, Honey Boo Boo.

Shape Magazine interview

Milano talks to Shape Magazine about balancing motherhood and a career.

That’s a work in progress for sure! I definitely don’t have all the answers for that, but the most important things to me are my son and my marriage. Those don’t function to capacity unless I take care of myself, so I try to do the best that I can with everything else. It really comes down to after I put my baby to sleep; I have to spend quality time with my husband. It’s so important. Whether we have a conversation and talk about our day or just watch TV together, we have to have that connection. After that, it’s time to turn off all the electronics, to completely shut down, and try to pamper myself. I try to have a cup of tea or put a mask on my face and make my bedroom smell delicious. Those are all really important things.

Lee gives his thoughts on his role in the movie Mallrats:

Oh, that wasn’t a cameo! I was one of the stars, shame on you. But I enjoyed it tremendously and I enjoyed Kevin Smith, we got along beautifully. Tell you a funny thing about it, though – in the movie, I’m supposed to be telling somebody that they shouldn’t feel bad about losing a girl because I had lost a girl once and I still remember her and blah blah blah. I went home and my wife said, What’s this about that girl you were talking about? And I said, Honey, it’s just movie! But it took me a while to pacify her.

V2 Wrestling interview

Aries talks to V2 Wrestling about Kevin Nash, nearly retiring and TNA.

“I had made the decision (to retire). It was just one of those situations where I didn’t feel that I was getting back what I was putting in. I didn’t want to be a prisoner to the world of wrestling; I didn’t want to be a guy who was trying to hustle every weekend and do a convention. I didn’t want to be Randy The Ram in 10, 20 years. I felt at that point of my life I was ok with transitioning into something else, and I’d stopped taking bookings and had nothing on my schedule, and before that really sunk in I got a call from TNA offering me the opportunity to come down there for an X Division qualifying match. and I figured, well why not take one more pay day, that certainly can’t hurt!

Decision to return to television

Magazine Cover0 Comments

Williams tells Parade magazine that there are financial considerations behind his decision to return to television. On his role in The Crazy Ones:

The idea of having a steady job is appealing. I have two (other) choices: go on the road doing stand-up, or do small, independent movies working almost for scale … My life has downsized, in a good way. I’m selling the ranch up in Napa. I just can’t afford it anymore.

On how much his divorces have cost him financially:

Well, not all. Lost enough. Divorce is expensive.

Interview about NSA

Arrington and Conway discuss the NSA at Disrupt 2013. Arrington talks about issues like seizing encrypted data and hacking phones:

We see what is happening with the NSA, the NSA is strong-arming these companies that are part of our ecosystem…why have you sat by for six months and not done a thing to stop this?

Conway:

I absolutely agree that we have to balance national security, there was this thing called 9/11, the government’s responsibility is to protect… You have to balance that with responsibility… Obviously the events of the last 60 days with the NSAs says that there has to be a balance between national security and transparency.

He says there is a healthy debate and he is focusing on other issues – civic engagement, gun control, and immigration reform:

I’m probably not going to be the tech leader who heads that…right now immigration reform to me is probably more important

The Talks interview

Bale gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses the most fun he’s had making a movie, smaller indie films, and what makes him do the big movies.

I like the emotion. That’s what I do. When I first read a script and decide that there’s something in it that I can try, I like to remember that feeling – and that’s not about hanging out on the set and socializing. I can do that in my own time. I very much enjoy trying to put myself in other people’s shoes.

Steve Austin Show interview

Lawler is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss his early career and Andy Kaufman.

If you remember, Steve. I started in this business 43 years ago. I had my first match in 1970. The business was different then. The people saw the wrestlers as huge stars but it was on a more regional business. I remember knowing you’d arrived if you made one thousand dollars in a week. That was when you knew you’d made it.

Gervais talks about his Netflix series Derek:

I have folded a few stories in, but they’re not so much strict stories as things in general. I’ve got 20 or 30 years of stories, some funny and some really sad. I just thought, it’s such rich, fertile ground because these people have lived ordinary yet extraordinary lives, every one. I find it fascinating that you’ve lived on this planet for 80 years and what you’ve seen, the changes you’ve seen. And it’s just the best backdrop for Derek because it’s sort of a show about kindness.

Barinholtz talks about his role as Morgan Tookers on the show The Mindy Project:

When you first meet him he’s so crazy. He’s got this giant tattoo and he’s a crazy person. But then he started appearing more and more, and he started being more human. Especially when he was doing dumb things and you started to see the ramifications of that, like when he mailed Danny’s letter to [his ex-wife] and Danny [Chris Messina] had to fire him. The good thing about him is that at his core, he’s an idiot. So even though he does have some humanity, he’s a moron.
