Getting thrown into the fire is often the best way to learn
Maxim Interview
Drake gives his thoughts on his new album Nothing Was The Same:
I think I’ve found a way to successfully blend my melodic side and my rap side. I think that’s why it comes off a bit tougher, because there are no ballads on there like the last album. There’s not really any down moments, even when I’m singing – I chose to take a more aggressive stance while in production and during recording. It’s not tougher in a way where you are going to hear a bunch of gun and drug raps; it’s just a bit tougher in the sense that it’s got an energy coursing through it, and I’m really excited about that.

Hall interviews Mandell on The Arsenio Hall Show. Mandell gives Hall a nolstagic gift from Hall’s original show.
For those of you who don’t know when you do a television show there are gifts. Backstage gifts in fact that’s the only reason I’m here.

I have a girlfriend, but I tend not to really like to talk about it in public. She is not in show business.
Alyssa Milano Interview
Milano answers a fan’s question on Larry King Live, about a possible Who’s the Boss? reunion movie.
Absolutely. I don’t know what that storyline would be and it would have to be something pretty awesome.
Mohr Stories interview
Henry talks to Mohr Stories about life outside of wrestling and his early career.
I want to be known as a great dad more than anything. Kids – young men find it uncool to be a dad I think. It’s very cool to me … I love being at home with my kids. I got pissed yesterday because I get a call and a video, that my daughter swam for the first time without the floaties on. I miss all that kind of stuff.
MMA Hour interview
Austin talks to The MMA Hour about returning to the ring in the future and having Undertaker on his podcast.
I talked to Mark (Undertaker). I asked if he’d do the show. He said he would and that’s a matter of me getting out to Austin, Texas to talk to him one on one.
Green Tech interview
Fonstad talks about Draper Fisher Jurvetson investments in green tech in Menlo Park, California.
Poughkeepsie Journal interview
Lawler and Ross talk to Poughkeepsie Journal about their separate futures inside the wrestling industry. Lawler comments.
I don’t wrestle on a full-time schedule anymore, but I still enjoy getting back in there. It’s exercise and it’s fun. I’ve enjoyed doing this my entire career. If I can do it once or twice a week, it’s cool for me. It’s just getting back on the horse again. I don’t worry about it. I don’t sit around and wonder if it’s going to be the same thing that‘s going to happen to me again. I don’t think anything different about it.
Wild Talk Radio interview
Marella talks to Wild Talk Radio about his future goals and returning to WWE.
The grand opening was actually the night before my return, so it was a really cool weekend. I had the Grand Opening party on Sunday, returning to the WWE on Monday, Smackdown on Tuesday; so it was a cool weekend.
NST.com interview
Booker T talks to NST.com about possibly returning to the ring and working the Royal Rumble match.
I wouldn’t call it a comeback (laughs). I’m semi-retired and to work around these schedules that the younger wrestlers and the divas (applies to the female talent, whether as wrestlers, managers or ring announcers) is rough. It’s a young man’s sport. I don’t want to be one of those wrestlers who still holds on to the past, hearing all the roars from the crowd.
Louis C.K. interview
Louis C.K. returns to Conan and reminisces working with O’Brien as a writer at Late Night. He also talks about his experience flirting with Gwyneth Paltrow and his opinion on the cell phone culture.
You know, I think these things are toxic, especially for kids. It’s this thing. It’s bad. They don’t look at people when they talk to them. They don’t build the empathy. Kids are mean and it’s because they’re trying it out. They look at a kid and they go, you’re fat. Then they see the kid’s face scrunch up and say ooh, that doesn’t feel good. But when they write they’re fat, they go, hmm, that was fun.
Tony Danza Interview
Danza talks with Screenlam about his role in Don Juan.
The role appeals to me because it’s a little different from what I’m usually doing.
Russell Simmons interview
Hall interviews Simmons on The Arsenio Hall Show. They talk about Simmons involvement creating a Harriet Tubman prank comedy tape that outraged his fans and the frustration felt by his artists they deemed as degrading.
I’ve done lots of comedy and lots of bad taste. Lots of music and bad taste…lots of poetry that’s offended people. Lots of music that people really felt hurt by but I’ve always stood by it. But this particular piece, when I understood how hurt people were, I pulled it down immediately. I’ve never pulled down a piece of content.
Lizzy Caplan interview
Caplan promotes Masters of Sex. She also talks about her family’s sex-inspired cookbook and the banality of watching sex scenes at work. On people’s unique sexual techniques:
What I’ve learned is that everybody masturbates really differently. It’s sort of beautiful. One would assume, hey, everybody just does it the way I do it. Not the case. People come up with crazy stuff. And you know they’re just doing it the way that they normally do.
Tavis Smiley interview
Dern discusses her role in the HBO dramedy, Enlightened, which she also co-created, in this interview for PBS.
Well, I will tell you that it’s a huge story point this season for my character, and she and I are pretty much on par about how outrageously naïve we are about everything technological. She doesn’t have a clue, I don’t have a clue. She writes on the show, which she becomes, she gets on Twitter and her first tweet is “My first twit.”
Wrestleinc.com interview
Morgan talks to Wrestleinc.com about meeting with vince McMahon and leaving TNA.
I was about to start a story line, a pretty major one actually. Unfortunately it just didn’t materialize and they went in a different direction with another person’s character. I 100% understand why they had to do it with this particular character, but as far as I’m concerned with my storyline, that left me odd man out where I was going to be taking some time off and sitting at home again.
Bill Bellamy interview
Hall interviews Bellamy on The Arsenio Hall Show. They talk about Mothers’ Day versus Fathers’ day. Bellamy expresses how mothers get a lot more attention than the dads.

Dr Phil interview
Hall interviews McGraw on The Arsenio Hall Show. They talk about Hall’s first show and why McGraw held his wife’s hand and how he feels about his wife’s reaction in general when he is asked to be a guest on a talks show.
I grabbed her hand and we walked off and everybody thought that is just nice, that is real and she now has missed one show through eleven years and that was the day she had to be on Oprah.
