Evans is featured in Attitude magazine. He talks about being the next Jamie Dornan and being in a boy band.

Just after school I was going to sign with a professional rugby team, and it was all ready to go. A mate of mine was a great singer who was putting together a boy band who already had a record deal with an independent label. One of the guys dropped out and I took his place. I thought if I was ever going to give it a go it was then. And I had a great time; one of the best years of my life. I had three great mates who I am still friends with now. One’s a doctor now and two of them are still in the music industry. It was such a great experience. We even got to tour with Westlife! Having four guys in an arena full of girls; they’re gonna scream and scream away. It was quiet terrifying in a way. I went to an all boys school so when I was confronted by these screaming girls, throwing things at you, I was taken aback. It was quite daunting. I was unaware as to what to expect but over time I got used to it.

I’m not just wealthy, I’m loaded. I can say that because I’m not embarrassed – I’ve made a f-ck-ton of money, but I’ve never made a dishonest dollar. I try to do right by the people around me.

The Talks interview

Wahlforss gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses whether SoundCloud is a profitable business, what drew him to Berlin, and how he got start up funding.

We were trying to raise money. At the end of 2008, you had this real estate crisis in the US and no one really wanted to invest in us. People even said, “I know that what you are doing could somehow make sense but we don’t want to take on any risks.” So, it was really tough there for a while. We didn’t pay salaries for a long time. Luckily Berlin is so cheap that you can survive on almost nothing.

Mmm…Not so serious. I mean, it gets serious when we need to be serious, but Tyler Posey is definitely for sure the prankster of the set. He’s always doing something to bring on the energy, especially if there’s a camera on, he’s out there looking for someone to scare and get that reaction on camera.

Kardashian talks to Cosmopolitan Magazine about buying Bieber’s house.

I bought Justin Bieber’s house. He had like this nook under the stairs which I didn’t need so I covered it up. When I ran into him he was like What did you do with the nook? I used to go in there and play video games. When I told him it was gone he was so upset, I didn’t think this 20-year-old boy would even care!

We kind pushed the envelope as far as bulls–t stunts went. [But] When you’re tackling something so iconic and beloved, you really have to pull out a rabbit to win everyone over.

Very few reached out to me and pretty much just told me their gratitude and how thankful they were that I had the courage (to come out publicly). They wished that they had the courage to come out.

I think the Islamic State is a lot more dangerous than Western leaders realize. They believe in what they are fighting for and are preparing the largest religious cleansing campaign the world has ever seen.

Orlando Bloom interview

Bloom appears as a guest on Conan to promote his latest film, The Hobbit. He also talks about having Sir Ian McKellen as a roommate, his experience stripping down in Zulu, and creating a porno film involving elves and Middle Earth.

The truth is there won’t be because J.R. Tolkien has the rights. The estate sold the rights for both The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, but nothing else. I was doing press with Evangeline Lilly and Lee Pace recently. We both play elves and we could do an elven spinoff. Get some iphones and some GoPros and annihilate middle earth, Tantric sex, down and dirty. Let’s go with a bit of elven love and violence.

Baranski discu1D7B50ECsses her role as Cinderella’s Stepmother in Rob Marshall’s screen adaptation of Sondheim’s Into the Woods, her long working relationship with Marshall, and why she accepted a small part in the film.

The Stepmother is a peripheral character. But frankly, those little musical entrances are very tricky. That’s how she’s introduced: She breezes down the staircase, and you have to hit your mark. I often say playing small roles is more challenging than a large role because you have very little time, especially onscreen, to say, “This is exactly who that character is—so it has to be cut and crystal.” If there’s a laugh, a funny moment, you have to score it.

On Air interview

Will.i.am gives an interview to Ryan Seacrest during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his fifth studio album The End.

This new project, Taboo called me and was like, Yo Will, I think it’s that time again, and I’m like, You’re right. So we’ve just been sitting around going through our hard drives and archives of things that we’ve put out, things that we haven’t put out, we’ve been dreaming of why we come back. A 20-year anniversary is important, but more importantly, how we come back. We’ve anticipated the whole arc: the emotion, the connection, the discovery, the shock and awe, the conversation. We’ve been cooking stuff up, man. Our stuff is as mysterious as Donald Trump’s toupee.

Tried to rally support for Sony

Clooney claims that he and his agent Bryan Lourd presented a petition to the powerful people in Hollywood to sign in support of Sony not submitting to the Sony hacker’s demands, but no one would sign it.

It was a large number of people. It was sent to basically the heads of every place. They told Bryan Lourd, “I can’t sign this.” What? How can you not sign this? I’m not going to name anyone, that’s not what I’m here to do, but nobody signed the letter, which I’ll read to you right now.

On November 24 of this year, Sony Pictures was notified that it was the victim of a cyber attack, the effects of which is the most chilling and devastating of any cyber attack in the history of our country. Personal information including Social Security numbers, email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers and the full texts of emails of tens of thousands of Sony employees was leaked online in an effort to scare and terrorize these workers. The hackers have made both demands and threats. The demand that Sony halt the release of its upcoming comedy The Interview, a satirical film about North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Their threats vary from personal—you better behave wisely—to threatening physical harm—not only you but your family is in danger. North Korea has not claimed credit for the attack but has praised the act, calling it a righteous deed and promising merciless measures if the film is released. Meanwhile the hackers insist in their statement that what they’ve done so far is only a small part of our further plan. This is not just an attack on Sony. It involves every studio, every network, every business and every individual in this country. That is why we fully support Sony’s decision not to submit to these hackers’ demands. We know that to give in to these criminals now will open the door for any group that would threaten freedom of expression, privacy and personal liberty. We hope these hackers are brought to justice but until they are, we will not stand in fear. We will stand together.

Aniston reveals her struggle with chronic insomnia and letting herself go for her role in Cake.

I have a hard time sleeping. Sleep is a tough one for me. My brain, the committee in my head, if I wake up at three in the morning I just start having conversations and they won’t shut up and then I can’t get back to sleep. I do have three animals and a human being in the bed, so there are all these distractions.

Thanks English teacher

After Bryant writes a first-person essay for The Players Tribune about passing Michael Jordan on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, he thanks his high school English teacher Jeannie Matriano for develops writing skills.

I had a really really good creative writing teacher in high school…She always said you keep swinging the axe to chop the tree, eventually the tree is going to fall. It might not fall when you want it to fall. It might not fall on the second or third swing. But eventually it will fall. That’s the kind of determination you must have.

Mastriano describes Bryant as an “above average student” that normally earned high B’s on his writing assignments.

I always told students I want writers to bend to their will and write what you want to write about. Don’t let the prompt kill your joy of the moment. You’re not going to get the minutes back. You may as well as say, ‘I’ll write about this.’

He sees learning as empowering. He listens very intently. Could you imagine what the world would look like if everybody lived that way? Everybody would be so much more pleasant and the work would be good work.

The Talks interview

Moroder gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses how girls played a role in him going into the music industry and becoming a DJ.

No, I became a DJ by coincidence, because Louis Vuitton asked me to do a small, 15-minute set for one of their men’s shows in Paris and I liked it. Because of that Elton John’s company asked me to DJ at the amfAR gala in Cannes during the festival and then the Red Bull Music Academy asked me to do a little bit of teaching to the students and at the same time to do a DJ set in a great club in New York and that became a big success. So I continued and now I love it.

Chau gives an interview to Time Out Hong Kong. He discusses why he started a career as a model, the differences between being an actor and singer, and his roles expanding.

Yes. In the past few years, as I’m getting older, my image has changed and my range has gotten bigger. Directors feel I can take on more roles and do different things. I used to be just someone’s boyfriend or someone’s son. Now I can play someone’s husband. I think I’ve really grown as an actor.
