Evening Standard interview

Charli is interviewed for The Evening Standard:

I really just want to change the way women think about themselves. A lot of young girls are quite lost. I think it would be cool for women to feel like they connect to someone who is also a bit scruffy. I’m not clean-cut and perfect, I say dumb shit and I fall over — and I want girls to know that’s cool.

Rosamund Pike interview

Schager interviews Pike for Esquire about her role in the film Gone Girl and the work the cast and crew put into the film.

It’s every single scene. Neil Patrick Harris and I would do 35 takes of getting in and out of a car to get the right level of smoothness and then, in fact, I think that scene’s never even in the movie. You do watch David’s films back, and having now worked with him, I watch them in a different way, because I can feel the careful labor that’s gone into them. I understand it. And with voice over, too. You watch Fight Club, and the reason that voice over bores into your skull is because it’s carefully, carefully constructed. When we were doing the voice over for Gone Girl, we’d go in and get the line just how we wanted it, and if we didn’t like a single word, we’d go in and make a puncture hole and insert a different version of a single word, to get every nuance we wanted to explore. I love working in that kind of detail. It’s really thrilling.

CNN interview

Paul discusses his views on same sex marriage in an interview with Peter Hamby of CNN during an appearance at the College of Charleston.

I don’t want my guns registered in Washington or my marriage. Founding Fathers all got married by going down to the local courthouse. It is a local issue and always has been. Society’s changing, I mean, people change their minds all the time on this issue, and even within the Republican Party, there are people whose child turns out to be gay and they’re like, oh well maybe I want to rethink this issue. So it’s been rethought. The President’s rethought the issue. So I mean, a lot of people have rethought the issue. The bottom line is, I’m old fashioned, I’m a traditionalist. I believe in old-fashioned traditional marriage. But, I don’t really think the government needs to be too involved with this, and I think that the Republican Party can have people on both sides of the issue.

Slam! Wrestling interview

Natalya talks to Slam! Wrestling about the McMahon family and giving wrestling everything she has.

It’s so great to say, ‘No matter what I’m given, I’m going to make it great.’ I’m going to pass gas, maybe I had too many protein bars that morning. I’m sorry, but as a Diva, I’m going to eat a lot of protein, and if I’m going to do that, then I’m going to look like a rockstar doing that, dressed to the nines in vintage couture and I’m going to make it gold.

MMANews.com interview

Ross talks to MMANews.com about NJPW, Global Force Wrestling and life after leaving WWE.

I’m doing my podcast, I’m in entrepreneurial mode right now. I don’t do a lot of things that conflict with OU football, but I’m doing my podcast, it’s doing really well.  We manage about half a million downloads per week and it’s growing. I’m in the process of working on my autobiography, that should be done by spring or summer 2015. I’m doing some writing for FOX, we’re talking to FOX about maybe doing some more boxing play-by-play, which I had fun doing, I’m a big boxing fan. My point is, if I like projects

Camilla Luddington interview

Luddington returns as a guest on Conan to talk about her overly critical father, her horrific film audition, and the poor British reception of her Lifetime movie, William and Kate.

We don’t have Lifetime in England, so they don’t understand that Lifetime movies are cheesy and a guilty pleasure. In England, I was screwed with the reviews before it came out and they were like “What?” – including my family.

Time Out London interview

Pike is interviewed for Time Out London about auditioning with Fincher, breaking out of her dark Gone Girl character off the set, and watching the completed film:

The second time, I said to Fincher: ‘I really like it.’ He’s like: ‘I think you need therapy.’

Sportingnews.com interview

Morris talks to Sportingnews.com about NXT, WWE 2K15 and Triple H.

It’s (WWE 2K15) unbelievable. It’s the red wall. You see our banners. You see the seven rings. You’re in the performance center with us, with me, and that’s an honor. I love the fact that the performance center is represented and I get to represent that. That side of what these superstars do to become NXT superstars and to WWE superstars and to WrestleMania.

NJ.com interview

Ambrose talks to NJ.com about the Authority and preparing for matches.

I listen to some Hank Williams before I go out. I tell some jokes. I have fun. I don’t waste too much energy thinking about it – I like to save that all for the ring. The calmest part of my day is right before a match.

Busted Open interview

Rodriguez talks to Busted Open Radio about leaving WWE and if Triple H if taking over the company.

It seems that way and if it hasn’t got there officially, it’s coming. We saw it coming and we understood and it’s like when a new president comes in and he brings his own cabinet. That part didn’t surprise me at all but what surprised me was who was running and what was already there.

Sirius/XM interview

Dallas talks to Sirius/XM satellite radio about his character in WWE.

You never know where my character is going in the future. I’ll always change. I never want you to see the same Bo Dallas twice, so who knows where it’s going in the future, but I know it will continue to grow and I’m not going anywhere.

John Mulaney interview

Mulaney and Fallon discuss the way Mulaney gets Ice-T to  narrate his new TV show Mulaney on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

I did stand up comedy about Ice T and we recorded a few statements from him and he heard the play back and said no it sounds like you got shot, so we changed it.

For me it was a just a joy to play a woman who doesn’t have to be palatable all of the time.

Makeshift interview

Hoover talks about why he would rather take the risk of working at a startup:

I can’t see myself working at a larger company.  I enjoy the absurdity of startups — the (almost irrational) hope of directly impacting a big change in peoples’ lives.  I’d much rather have “high-high’s” and “low-low’s” than the “medium-medium’s” of big businesses.  Ultimately my goal is to learn while building something I’m passionate about and startups are the best place for me to do that.

New York Times interview

Charli talks about her makeup, skincare, and hair routines:

To be honest, my usual makeup is the same as in my music video looks… It’s pretty much the same at night. Maybe I’ll add more black around my eyes. Or do a different lip, like a fuchsia. Or it’s an idea: I think about the 1990s. I’m a really big fan of movies like “Clueless” and “Jawbreaker.”
