Maxim Interview
George talks about the obstacles in designing the video game James Cameron’s Avatar:
One of the challenges we were up against was presenting Pandora, a world that is at the same time stunningly beautiful and uncertain, in such a way that it represented the level of quality that was expected from the film. Cameron is going for the highest fidelity, photo-realistic visual style, a challenge which we’ve seen he’s able to pull off. In the game, we’ve decided to capture this style by pushing the game through one of the most powerful graphic engines in the industry: Dunia, a subsequent generation of the Far Cry 2 engine.

Aaliyah biopic comments
Williams’ discusses the Lifetime Aaliyah biopic and why the family needs to let it happen.
In my opinion, TV trumps motion picture. As a woman who loves to lay in the house and watch a motion picture, I feel that the family might be a little misguided in the power of box office versus TV. Lifetime will play the movie over and over. TV is the way to get your story told.
Sentana interview
McGregor is interviewed by Setanta MMA, he talks about his motivations, his coaching, goals, and money.
Every boy gets into fights. I was never bullied. Fights would happen, you’re growing up on the street, playing football or whatever. For me, it stuck in my head. Maybe another boy would forget about it. But for me, Idwelled on it. What way should I have moved there? He did this, maybe if I done that it would have turned out better. It began to build in my mind that I wanted to become really good at this, to defend myself in any situation. So I went from gym to gym – kickboxing, boxing, grappling, wrestling, just trying to learn different ways the body can move, to attack and defend. It became an obsession and before you know it you’re headlining in football stadiums.
How much better can he get?
I’m only getting better. I’m only scratching the surface but I’m still better than any one of them. I’m taking over the game, in every way shape and form.
The Talks interview
Kline gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses advice he would give his younger self about the movie industry.
It’ll sound like I’m joking, but I’m serious: “Don’t listen to any advice from an older artist.” You sort of have to find your own way. The only thing I would say is the thing William Goldman said in his book about Hollywood – nobody knows anything. When you’re young you tend to think they know what they’re doing, but they don’t really know.
Tavis Smiley interview
Kennedy discusses her newest documentary, Last Days in Vietnam, and how her family connections there informed the movie in this interview for PBS.
I’m so thrilled to be able to share this film and, you know, what we uncovered in researching this film and developing it further was that as these events took place and it got very chaotic during those last 24 hours, the Americans in Washington, the president and others, Kissinger said we just need to get the Americans out of the country. We’ve got to leave the Vietnamese behind.
Tavis Smiley interview
Kem discusses his newest CD, Promise to Love, in this interview for PBS.
Love is the universal language, man, and being expressed through another universal language, music, has been a treat to be able to form a wish list of the things that I hope for in relationship to testify. You know, my music is a testimony. It’s a wish list and, you know, I take pride in crafting a great love song. I think there’s no greater topic to be talked about.

He also shares his experience being a traffic counter as a college student and explains why he throws his socks at the audience during his stand-up comedy set.
I take my shoes off and then I throw my socks into the audience, and people say, is that to be more comfortable? I don’t know. I don’t care about my comfort. All I care is that you people are uncomfortable. I find it’s better to perform for an audience that is profoundly disturbed. Now that I’m doing stand-up comedy, I want to establish dominance and I also want to spread my D.N.A. as far as possible.
