WWE announces  Christian will return to the ring at Night of Champions to interview Chris Jericho.

Controversy always thrives whenever Christian steps through the ropes for his iconic talk show, and the charismatic Superstar no doubt has some hard-hitting questions in store for his fellow Canuck, Y2J, moments before Jericho’s anticipated clash with Randy Orton. In addition to “The Peep Show,” the Night of Champions precursor will feature expert analysis from a panel of Superstars and WWE Legends.

Branson talks to The Guardian about the failure of Virgin Cola:

When we took on Coca-Cola, we had a year in which we were really giving Coke and Pepsi a run for their money and we were very much the underdogs taking on the biggest giant in the world, and when they sent in their big tanks and to an extent crushed us, the public didn’t think any the poorer of the Virgin brand for it. In fact, I would say the Virgin brand was enhanced by the battle.

He doesn’t regret the venture:

The key thing is never to do anything which discredits the brand, like ripping off the public or doing something which you’d feel uncomfortable reading about. If you’re going to go down, go down fighting.

We just have to figure out what it could be and what the most ideal matchup would be, and who it would be with. Because I always feel like if I go back to the WWE, then it has to be bigger and greater than what I’ve done in the past, and I don’t know what could be bigger in terms of marquee value—in terms of value across the board—and to me it has to surpass what we’ve done.

And just everything there is – and that’s what touches me so much about it is there’s so many coincidental situations there that the whole film is about divine intervention. I always loved that phrase when they say that coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous. Very true ’cause, man, there’s so many coincidental things that are going on in that film.
