Daily Record interview
McIntyre sits down with the Daily Record to discuss his WWE departure and his plans for the future.
I guess I was annoyed, now I’m just fired up. I have an opportunity to be the biggest wrestler outside of the WWE and I won’t be happy unless I’m a big brand. It’s not a case of if I’ll be back with the WWE, it’s a case of when. It was a shock because I was already booked to continue performing on TV and touring all over the world.
Los Angeles Times interview

Signs with WWE
Steen officially announces signing with WWE.
I went to the tryout camp and I got through it, and what made me stand out were the promos, where we basically had to sell ourselves verbally. That’s always been one of my strong suits — the way I talk and what I say. I make it count, and I think that went pretty far in getting me to where I am now.
Ring Rust Radio
Heyman appears on Ring Rust Radio to discuss his new DVD and TNA wrestling.
If you asked me two years ago if the WWE would’ve made a DVD of me, I wouldn’t say yes. I wouldn’t have envisioned this coming and I wasn’t particularly happy when I heard they were going to do it because I didn’t know what stories they were going to tell. I also knew that meant sitting down and reflecting upon my career and my life and I hate looking back. I’m obsessed with looking forward. I’m flattered by all of the positive reviews the DVD has gotten and I’m glad people like the take that was offered.

I talked to him last week because a couple of my friends went to a concert with him and his partner, Nicky. It was a Maxwell concert. He’s doing well and he’ll comeback, I’m sure, very motivated. Hell, he may even come try to beat me and Heath’s (butt) for partnering up. We might have to have the Prime Time Players rejoin.”

WWE hiatus interview
Batista talks to TampaBay.com about his current absence from WWE and promoting Guardians of the Galaxy.
I put it aside for now, and that really had a lot to do with my obligations to Marvel. But it also had to do with the fact that WWE and I weren’t seeing eye-to-eye, creatively. The stuff they were doing with story lines just didn’t’t make sense to me. … I’d love to go back. I’m a professional wrestler at heart and I miss it. But I want to be there and be happy with what I’m doing.

Heyman sits down with The MMA Hour to discuss Lesnar’s possible UFC return. Heyman declines rumors and claims Lesnar is currently happy with WWE.
I think he’s very, very happy right now with what we’re doing in WWE, It’s not a subject he has to think about. If the deal ends up over in WWE, if a change of circumstances happens, and if it’s a no-brainer to get him back into the cage, I’m sure it’s something he’d consider. Right now, it’s not a topic of conversation. Why would you mess up the WWE deal?
