Harden plays Andrea Haskell, a professor of pop culture, in this CBS sitcom created by Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin. Haskell joins the faculty and finds herself working with Max Bickford (Richard Dreyfuss), her former professor and lover. Co-starring Katee Sackhoff.
That was fun, because I got to read and read and read. I was constantly checking out books about pop culture. Who knew that you could even teach a class about pop culture? Some of it just felt like the snake eating its own tail, like icing on top of icing, so I was slightly cynical about it, but that was perfect for the character of Andrea Haskell.

It’s so nice to be part of an ensemble piece where there’s so many great stars.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
Jolie plays Lara Croft, a young woman born into English wealth, who spends her days traveling the world searching for lost treasures. One day she stumbles upon an artifact that may give her clues about her deceased father. She embarks on the mission and is able to travel through time. Other cast members include Chris Barrie, Jon Voight, and Ian Glen.
This was a side of myself that I didn’t think was in me. But it wasn’t a surprise to people who know me. You spend so much time in your head as an actor, living in the dark, you forget to be free. And I’m the first person to be looking for what freedom means and to feel trapped and in a cage.
Pearl Harbor
Beckinsale stars as Lieutenant Evelyn Johnson in the 2001 romantic drama Pearl Harbor. Lt. Johnson is a nurse who is caught in a love triangle between two American fighter pilots played by Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett. The film is directed by Michael Bay and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
I really didn’t know the details of Pearl Harbor, and I think that there is extraordinary poetry to a loss of innocence like that.

Final WCW appearance
Sting main events very last WCW match on final Monday Night Nitro broadcast. Sting faces off against longtime rival, Ric Flair. Flair is defeated and the two embrace after the bout, bringing the final show to a close.
I’ve always described that day as being surreal, very, very tough thing to swallow. After all the years and finally becoming the number one wrestling organization in the world. To see it go and we’re on the chopping block. Suddenly there’s someone new running the company. It was really strange, a strange time.
Sopranos – Season Three
Sciorra plays Gloria Trillo, the love interest of Tony Soprano played by James Gandolfini, in Season Three of the HBO series. Initially meeting at their doctors office and later again at her job, where she works as a sales woman at a Mercedes dealership. The affair ends just as quickly as it begins with plenty of emotional breakdowns and threats. Co-starring Edie Falco, Lorraine Bracco and Michael Imperioli.
On an artistic level, working with James Gandolfini was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’ll treasure that time forever. He was a deep and giving actor who made it safe enough for me to go out on a limb and delve into the depths of insanity, intimacy and violence right along with him without question or fear.
The Mexican
Pitt stars in this romantic comedy film directed by Gore Verbinski. He plays Jerry Welbach, a man traveling around Mexico with his girlfriend to find a valuable antique handgun called The Mexican for a local mobster named Arnold Margolese. The film also stars Julia Roberts, James Gandolfini, and Gene Hackman. On his on-screen romance with Roberts:
There was a Hepburn-Tracy quality to it, their relationship – the bickering and the relationship they had was funny. And also, bantering.

It’s fun to be that mean, evil person. I myself have always loved the dark side as well.
