Cosby resigns from Temple University’s board of trustees. He had been on the board for more than 32 years. According to a statement released by the university, Cosby stated:
I have always wanted to do what would be in the best interests of the university and its students. As a result, I have tendered my resignation from the Temple University Board of Trustees.

Wilson resigns from the Ferguson Police Department, effective immediately, after being told by the department they had received threats of violence if he stayed on the force.

Wyler leaves Google to work with Space Exploration Technologies Corp. In his departure, he takes rights to certain radio spectrum that could be used to provide Internet access. This could hurt Google’s aspirations in this area in the short term, but there are many alternatives to spreading Internet connectivity globally.

Talent Relations announces the signing of Chris Melendez who trained at the Team 3D Wrestling Academy. The former Army Sergeant lost his leg in an IED explosion while deployed in Iraq.
TNA Wrestling is happy to announce the signing of a true American hero! Chris Melendez is a former Army Sergeant, who served his country in Afghanistan and was awarded a Purple Heart. Because of injuries suffered in combat, the brave soldier returned home a single leg amputee. Melendez, a member of the Wounded Warrior Project, had another dream to realize when he returned home. He dreamed of becoming a pro wrestler.
Hires marketing executive
Barry McMullin who has previously worked for the NBA and PBA is hired as Senior Vice President of Sales and Partnership. McMullin has more than twenty years of experience in sales and marketing in a variety of sports and entertainment brands. McMullin also held a seat on the 2002 Winter Olympic committee.
