Ejiofor discusses his career and role in the film, 12 Years a Slave, in this interview for PBS.

It’s been an incredible journey with this film. I really – I think it’s just a film we’re all so deeply proud of, and we were just deeply passionate about making. It’s been incredible, the way it’s been received. So I’m kind of thrilled about it.

Seacrest interviews Michelle Obama during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions her about her Valentines Day plans.

He [President Obama] celebrated me so well—he did a great job. I had a great couple of weeks, so I think we’re going to low-key it for Valentine’s Day. It feels like we just finished celebrating my birthday so I think we are going to low-key it.

Matt Lauer interview

Seacrest interviews Lauer during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions him about taking over sportscasting the Winter Olympics for Bob Costas who caught a bad case of pink eye.

I went in yesterday and they put me in a completely different dressing room. The makeup artist Kris, who has been his longtime makeup artist, told me that she guaranteed me she bought all new makeup and all new brushes. The chair I was sitting in was not his chair, but they still wiped it down. Then I walked into the studio and they told me, ‘Don’t worry. We’ve wiped the counters down. We’ve wiped the chair down.’

Mariah Carey interview

Seacrest interviews Carey during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions her about the revealing dress she wore to the BET Honors.

It was made to my body, they mold it to my body. It was difficult. It was not an easy feat to get that to stay up on the body. The first night we realized, ‘Um, I think we’re going to have to do something about this situation We rigged it with a little bit of invisible fishing wire.

Gabriella Wilde interview

Seacrest interviews Wilde during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions her about her desire to star in independent films.

My only experience with American things is through movies. I had to pick up the nuances from the other actors, so after two studio films I’d like to graduate from high-school parts, and maybe even try an independent film.

Michael Ealy interview

Ealy is interviewed by Hall on The Arsenio Hall Show. They talk about how private he is and his most horrible Valentine day story.

I’m driving ’cause I’m just a new driver, she says ‘What’s on the windshield?’ I said ‘Excuse me?’ I look on the windshield, ‘It’s a parking ticket.’ I parked in front of a handicap spot in front of the restaurant man.

Zap2It interview

Cena speaks to Zap2It about Daniel Bryan’s popularity and CM Punk.

Predicting the next WWE Superstar is like predicting the crooked stock market at the turn of the 19th century. You just can’t. That’s what’s beautiful about the WWE audience, that’s why I love it so much. It changes everyday, every arena, every city. I don’t know who will be next but I will keep trying to put people front and center so the WWE Universe gets a good look at people.

WWE.com interview

Zayn speaks to WWE.com about NXT, Cesaro and his knee problems.

I spent a lot of time focusing on getting my knee to 100 percent. I’ve done a lot of rehab exercises, but to be honest, most of my preparation has been mental. I won’t get into the nitty gritty of my mental preparation because some of it is a bit weird, but I’m in the zone and I will be ready.

Brian Boitano interview

Williams interviews Boitano about his career, family and the Olympics. When questioned about his experience being gay in the Olympics replied.

It was weird growing up in figure skating because all the guys I competed with were straight, everybody that I toured with was straight. Like I was one of the only ones, I know because they had girlfriends and stuff like that so I was always really quiet about who I was personally. After the Olympics in fact my agent at the time said, “you got to go on these talk shows and you know say that you want to get married and stuff. I don’t know if your gay or not”. I was like “Oh my God, how did he know I’m gay?” because I was in this world of all these strait guys competing, you know. I didn’t even know that people thought that figure skaters might be gay.

Larry King interview

Larry King visits Conan and talks to O’Brien about the late comedian Sid Caesar, his interviewing style, and his desire to by cryogenically frozen when he dies.

King on interviewing guests:

I left myself out of it. I didn’t use the word “I”. I asked short questions, listened to the answer. Listening is as important as what you ask because you have to follow up. I try to put guests at ease. I think it’s intrinsic, I was naturally curious. I still am.

The Talks interview

Hurt gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses the industry in the 70’s/80’s and the future.

I think one should be very careful of making things cut and dried or simplistic in that sense. For everything that you find dreadful, there’s usually something that is rather marvelous as well. And where humanity is going to find itself in say 20, 30, 40, or 50 years would be very difficult to predict, I think. There are moments of course when you think that it’s going from bad to worse, but there are other moments when you think that human efforts are really flowering into something really fantastic. It’s not something that can be either dismissed or accepted with any kind of simplicity.

Shape Magazine interview

DeWulf speaks to Shape Magazine about working with Sheen.

I love working with Charlie! There are obviously a lot of opinions out there, but I wish more people could know how nice and caring he is. Our crew just loves and adores him, and working with him is one of the best parts of my day.

Tavis Smiley interview

Pierce discusses his career and latest project, directing a Los Angeles production of Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, in this interview for PBS.

There are so many bad productions of Chekov, because he’s really hard to do. Because it’s not slapstick, it’s not drama; it’s kind of like real life. There’s a great quote about The Cherry Orchard, someone had said about his play The Cherry Orchard: “Nothing happens except one world ends and another begins.”

Jennifer Lopez interview

Seacrest interviews Lopez during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and asks her what she hopes her boyfriends Valentines Day plans are.

I just like something that has some thought put into it. I don’t need like big gifts. I want to feel like you put some time into it and you really thought about it I always say it takes more time to go out and pick a card than it does to buy a quick present.

Queen Latifah interview

Seacrest interviews Queen Latifah during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions her about how she felt marring 33 cuples at the same time during Grammy Awards show.

I was very emotional because outside of all of the hype of everything – it being the Grammys, it being a world stage, all of the musical performances, the fact that it’s Mackelmore, Ryan Lewis, and Madonna and Mary Lambert – there’s 33 couples out there who are taking the biggest step of their lives probably. Who are actually making a commitment and it’s scary! It’s exciting! It’s wonderful! So I really tried to just focus on them and the love they have for each other to actually make that commitment.

Kid Ink interview

Seacrest interviews Kid Inc during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions him about his collaboration with Chris Brown on the single Show Me.

Really it was the blessing of social networking. It was me really me reaching out on direct messaging. I said I was finishing the album, ‘Do you want to come check anything out?’ And I had just moved at the time that was close to where he stays, so it wasn’t a struggle to be like, ‘Let’s go down the street to the studio and record and listen to some records. And he came through. I played him about three different records, ‘Show Me’ being the first one, and I knew that was a record that was really special to me at the time, but it was still missing a little something. [He] went in the booth and gave it all the energy it needed at that time and it was like, ‘Yeah, that’s the one. We got it!’ But I didn’t tell him that’s the one,” he laughs, “so we could keep going and we did about three records that night.
