Apple gives interview to Elle about the start of her singing career and why some people didn’t like her at first.

I can understand why I was annoying to people. I was never somebody who grew up going, “I really want to be a singer in a band,” and I never had any ambition toward anything, really. And I think I came off as ungrateful because I was.

Lots of women do it. Lots of women do it, it’s really caught on, it’s sort of like a sexy, fun little thing. It doesn’t always have to be done for a man, it just can be done for yourself to sort of feel special and cute and whatever.

The Talks interview

Timberlake gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses his quarter life crisis and Botox.

It is. From my understanding, they do it so that when they get older it doesn’t look like such a shift. It’s more so that in the future they can hide that they had plastic surgery. They’ll start doing Botox early so that their skin stays tight until they’re 35 and then they’re 40 and then you never question when their skin looks older and then all of a sudden it looks completely different. It’s so that they can hide it more.

Samberg gives interview to Elle about relationships and has he ever cheated on a girlfriend.

I’ve never cheated on a girl. From what I’ve observed, it’s always more trouble than it’s worth. You should just tell a person you’re not happy. Otherwise, you have to see the other girl and be nice to her and be in on this elaborate lie. Luckily, most of my friends don’t do that. They’re all nice Berkeley boys.

Bischoff talks about working for WWE:

It wasn’t until 2003 when Vince called me and asked if I would be interested in coming into WWE and I thought it was a great opportunity and thought it would be a lot of fun and it was. It was a very fulfilling opportunity I had to work with Vince McMahon and everybody at the WWE, they are a very classy organisation.

Bischoff gives his thoughts on his tenure as president of WCW:

It was a long process, from working on camera to becoming president of the company was a several year process but with every step in that process I learned more about the business side of wrestling industry and took on more responsibilities. By the time I became president of the company I had a clear vision of what I wanted to do and how I wanted to make WCW the number one wrestling company in the world.

Inc. interview

Ohanian tells the magazine about his conversation with Graham after Y Combinator rejected his initial pitch:

The next morning, on the train back to Virginia, hung over, somewhere in the middle of Connecticut, I get a call from Paul. He says, “I’m sorry, we made a mistake. We don’t like your idea, but we like you guys.” We got off the train, and I was able to sweet-talk the Amtrak lady into not charging us to turn around. In our conversation, Paul said, “You guys need to build the front page of the Internet.” That was all Paul, and that became Reddit. We built Reddit in three weeks.

The buyout also happened partly by chance:

The acquisition by Condé Nast basically started with a Halloween party, where we met a reporter who introduced me to a freelancer for Wired who told her boss about us. That editor’s husband was the biz-dev guy at Condé Nast. He worked on a licensing deal with us, and everything worked great. So we started talking money. Founders are supposed to be not at all interested in selling. But there is a price at which a founder can’t help being interested.

Payne gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses seeing bad movies, whether he always wanted to be a director, and how he decides when an idea should be a film.

Did you ever see my film Election? It’s set in a high school with Matthew Broderick. I basically made that whole film for two reasons. One was that I liked the formal challenge of having multiple voiceovers – it has four people telling you the plot of the film in voiceover. But secondly, it has this one shot, and that shot so cracked me up that I wanted to have a whole film just for it.

Tami Roman interview

Williams interviews Tami Roman and questions her career, family, and how reality TV drama has affected her life:

First let me say thank you to you [Wendy] for allowing me to come and talk about it because a lot of people sit and point the finger and start boycotts and all this other kinds of stuff, but no one is stepping up to the plate and mentor, to help us. If you turn the camera on, on anybody’s life they will have moments that they’re not proud of.

Williams interviews Tami Roman and questions her about her role on show Basketball Wives and the drama that unfolded.

For the first time I looked at my daughters and they weren’t really proud of their mom and they were embarrassed of me. It’s ridiculous that I’m on TV and I have a huge platform. I should be responsible, I should be accountable, and I really haven’t been honoring that.

Dillon discusses being selected for the WWE Hall of Fame:

It was a great honour, the arena in Miami was sold out and to be up on the stage and looking down in front of you are the McMahon family, John Cena, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and Pat Patterson behind them are other legends, the Roddy Piper’s of the world, Harley Race and Dory Funk Jr, then our families are all there as well. You then look up and can see and hear a sea of people, 15,000 plus giving us a standing ovation, I’ve had some goosebumps moments throughout my career but I don’t think anything will ever top the Hall of Fame.

As much as I love Jessica, and knew her voice is so outstanding I kind of felt like Phillip was going to win. I just felt like he connected with the audience in a way, like when he would come out, and the way they would scream, certain things, you just feel like that’s your ‘Idol.

Murray talks about working with Willis in the movie Moonrise Kingdom:

I got along great with Bruce Willis. He’s different, though. He’s rolled as a movie star for a long time, so it’s a little different for him coming into Wes Anderson’s world, where no one gets movie-star treatment. Life really does change when you go on one of Wes’s films — you gotta sit back and relax. But Bruce absolutely delivered. He was really game. It was like, Let’s play. Sometimes you get people that don’t want to play — they just want to perform, to act. He’s a movie star, I’ve been a movie star — we don’t have to take this so seriously.
